Outstanding
WWEIIt is on the campus of Auburn University. I love the orange ice water in their lobby, which is very fresh. The hotel has convenient parking and good surrounding environment. It is a must-have hotel for Auburn University. There are a lot of cafes in the surrounding restaurants.
GGuest UserClean, newer hotel. The only problem was not the hotel but other guests. There were multiple rager parties going from 11:30 pm to 3am. Loud music, talking, and what it sounded like a loud bang at 3am in the morning. The hotel needs to control its guests or toss them out.
GGuest UserTypical American style, large rooms, simple meals can be prepared in the room, and breakfast is a local specialty breakfast. I stayed for five consecutive nights and had the same breakfast for five consecutive days.
GGuest Userwas charged for breakfast, but received a paper bag with an apple and packaged muffin, so would’ve preferred to just not pay for it. room was mostly clean, with some sticky (maybe glue?) residue all over the shower wall. otherwise we were impressed. the staff was extremely professional and friendly.
赵赵The hotel is a little renovated, but the maintenance is very good, the breakfast is a standard American breakfast, coffee and bacon are very good! The service is also very welcoming, there are on-site meals on holidays, the desserts and chocolates at the front desk are great, the location is also good, next to the 85th road, eating and shopping is very convenient. There is also a Chinese restaurant next to it!
GGuest UserHotel seems brand new. Beds and pillows comfortable. Shower and elevators oddly not that clean but everywhere else spotless. The whole coffee/ beverage area was out of service which was a pain at breakfast. We also forgot toothpaste and I was surprised they couldn’t help us. Had to find a cvs. I would definitely try an avid hotel again based on this though.
GGuest UserThe help was very friendly and obliging. Even had early check in for us. Once in we found the hotel poorly maintained and accumulations of dust on bed rails and other surfaces. The floors were cleaned where tiled but the rugs were spotted and dirty. Once again, employees were friendly and helpful but facilities less than adequate.
Will avoid Red Roof in future.
