The location of the hotel is great. The hotel itself is in sad need of repair which I understand will begin in late 2023. The rooms are old, we had two rooms both with broken doors to the bedroom area, torn carpet, cracked tiles, banged up furniture and the list goes on. The guest rooms are horrible designed- there is no AC supply in the main bedroom. Not sure how the hotel got away with that design. AC will cool the main area only with no air flow to the sleeping area. The pool is nice but only open until 8pm which is odd. The fitness center is adequate. Would not stay again until after renovations are complete. I am sure this review will be deleted when that happens. For now, we will look elsewhere when in the area.
A nice place to stay got better with the recent refresh and far better than the neighboring Hyatt House rat trap. Rooms have been redone and have a fresh new look. Breakfast seems adequate (did not partake). Attentive staff, good Nespresso shots available for purchase. Beds were comfortable, and the rooms were quiet between the walls. However, the noise in the hallways did carry, as there were some rambunctious people there at a wedding. One persona had their wheels stolen off of their car in broad daylight. Not sure how that happened, but there are no security cameras outside. Keep that in mind. This was probably an opportunistic crime and not reflective of the area which is largely office park, right off of Route 73.
I have traveled a lot stateside and abroad. From the day I met with Julie to work out the details of our extended stay I have been continually impressed. The staff here are professional, kind, genuine and go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. I love the Wednesday social hour. Maria and the crew are just so much fun and lighthearted. You feel like you’re at a family reunion with all of your favorite people. Tony always provides a lovely meal. The pride in his craft shows. It was refreshing to be in an environment where food allergies are taken seriously and accommodated without being made to feel like it is troublesome. The entire kitchen staff are just a pleasure. Thank you Erin for being so thoughtful and helpful.

Anytime you see feral cats in the parking lot perhaps you have made a mistake in your choice of hotel. I had to make a last minute reservation over the memorial day weekend. The residence inn was well reviewed and we chose it. Clearly was not a Marriott experience and hardly worth $300 a night The check-in was somewhat chaotic but what really welcomed us to the negative experience was the rank smell of ********* throughout the entire second floor. The first floor carpet smelled if anything worse. The room itself was perfectly clean But not at all soundproof and was rather too much of an invitation to get to know your neighbors. In these Covid days one is used to there being low staff and no housekeeping. That having been said no one ever answered the phone so when you called. We called down four towels and it rang so many times when we hung up we had actually forgotten we were still on the phone. When we went down to ask for towels they looked at us and said sorry we have no towels. The free breakfast was worth what we paid for it being that they ran out of coffee at 8 AM and we headed to the Dunkin’ Donuts next door which thankfully had not run out of coffee at 8 AM. Hard to believe given how expensive the two nights were but it does appear to be more of an extended stay for families between residences. I probably am in 30 to 40 hotels a year and this was clearly the worst experience I’ve had.
Very nice. Great rooms. Jesse at the front desk was outstanding. He helped with our reservation before we arrived, restaurant recommendations and smooth, easy checkout. It makes a real difference to have professional and friendly staff.
A very good family hotel with two bedrooms and good value for money. It is a little far from Philadelphia and takes more than 20 minutes by car. It is really only suitable for self-driving stays. There is nothing to complain about except that there are no dumbbells in the gym. Highly recommended
We had business event for 150+ people and everything was amazing! Melanie was extremely helpful through the booking process and I cannot speak highly enough about Amir and his team! Bernadette, Ramy, Eldo, Desiree and Haidy were very accommodating to any request we had and truly made it a perfect event! If you are looking for a place to book for an event, look no further - the Westin Mount Laurel is the best around!
Hospitality and cleanliness has taken a backseat at this establishment!! You are required to give 24 hours notice for housekeeping due to a staffing shortage. Ask yourself this, if this place has a shortage, do you REALLY think that your room will be thoroughly cleaned to prevent the spead of Covid-19? I don't think so. If protocols to ensure you have a guaranteed clean room are lessened due to staffing issues, I recommend staying at a different brand of hotel. Shame on you Hilton for allowing this practice under your watch. I was forced to check out after a 3 night stay because no one would clean my room. A 24 hour request for housekeeping at this point should be irrelevant to prevent a guest from checking out. General Manager, Scott Fisher and Assistant General Manager, Ignacio Fonseca agreed to follow this disgraceful practice. Seriously, the entire staff is operating at sub par standards. Don't waste your money or time here.

Excellent
CCamper16519247923We usually travel from southern DE to north Jersey once a year around the holidays, and like to stay in south Jersey (we used to live in South Jersey). I was very excited to find a brand-new LaQuinta that had a ”grand opening” rate. We could not have been happier with our choice to stay for two nights at this hotel. Staff was welcoming and actually did seem excited to be a part of this hotel's team. The rate included a free breakfast that had sausage patties one day and bacon the next. Both days there was biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes along with various items for toasting and two waffle irons. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash and lotion provided in the room was the brand Dove - very nice. The indoor pool area looked nice but we did not use it. The Funplex (amusement park type venue) is literally steps away making this a great location for families visiting the Funplex. We would definitely recommend staying here. No complaints at all!
GGuest UserBecause I had points for one night and the rates were excellent, I only paid $217 for a Thursday through Sunday stay. The rooms were nicely appointed, clean in your typical business hotel style. They had a decent morning breakfast and it was located right off of route 73. Only 30 minutes to downtown Philly. I paid less than one nights stay for a long weekend in nearby South Jersey.
GGuest UserOK This is NOT a 5 Star hotel, so I did not expect that kind of treatment, qualities or amenities. That being stated, I was nicely surprised with my stay. I was staying over night, as I was working in the area, for the weekend. I arrived late in the evening and was professionaly address by the front service person. (Apologize now for not getting anyone's names.) He was friendly and took care of all my needs. (I did book and paid ahead which voided lots of delays) Once to my room, I looked around and saw everything look clean and pleasant. (Loved the photo of downtown Philadelphia, in the room) King bed was comfortable and had a great night sleep. I do want to apologize to the housekeeping staff. I was eating and drinking on the bed and did make a mess, with a spill. Now for my surprise. Usually hotel's showers have weak water pressure and lately, very little hot water. Not in my room, pressure was VERY nice and water was nice and hot. This helped me relaxed after a long day of work. A good quality stay!
GGuest UserSonesta Suites Mt Laurel is an excellent hotel, especially for people with disabilities. The rooms have kitchenettes with full fridge. microwave and stove top, plus the utensils and equipment needed to cook a meal. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the room was very clean; no complaints at all on that score. The front desk staff was very helpful and went out of their way to assist me due to my disability. I would definitely stay there again.
FFlyer44356207720Honestly amazed at how nice & on top the staff were here. Very polite and outgoing! Would love to stay again! Only thing missing I would say is breakfast in bed! I love to be spoiled. They cleaned every day from what I saw and never let a mess *if there was one* stink up or sticky up the floor/hallway. Carpet was clean as well!! Which is something I rarely see some places.
RrobinsumnersThis hotel is average for the price (cheap). My expectations are realistic, so I will say that the room is small but decent. My complaint is that the hotel advertises ”free continintal breakfast,” but upon checking in, I was informed that there is no breakfast. Yes, there is a disclaimer that states that ”due to COVID 19, some services (including food and beverages) MIGHT not be available.” It is now mid-October, 2020, and we are about seven months into this ”pandemic.” How long are hotels like this Choice Hotel Econolodge going to continue to advertise Free Breakfast when, in fact, there is no free breakfast, and how long are they going to use the Corona virus as an excuse to continue to charge guests the same rates for less service? The hotel's own transaction receipt still states that free breakfast is included in the price of the room. How long would it take, or how difficult would it be to correct the information on the website to reflect the current (and into the foreseeable future) situation? Instead, they prefer to just do nothing, knowing that they are pulling in budget-minded cutomers through false advertising? I am sure that it is profitable to reap the extra cash earned by not providing the promised service and not doing so with impunity. I, for one, do not appreciate selecting a marginally satifactory hotel for my accommodations because they offer a free breakfast only to find out that they don't. Unhappy Camper in NJ
IiAmAlliCatDecent accommodations. The housekeeping team is really thorough and very polite and helpful. Front desk staff is decent to those who act decent toward them. Lots of upset customers when I’m traveling through so I can see why the staff may be unengaged. Having a Smoking room shouldn’t mean cigarette-burned comforter. Breakfast that’s advertised isn’t true. They only serve 6 oz cups of coffee and that even stops around 9. Steer clear of room 118, long term guests with loads of drama...EVERY EVENING. If you need utensils, don’t bother being polite and asking the restaurant that’s ten steps away from the hotel. You’ll get lectured on how “people” do this often, and how sick they are of it....I just offered to PURCHASE a plastic spoon. I didn’t sign up for a lecture. I had also patronized both parts of the restaurant since being a guest, but the rude manager that came out from the back to ask what I wanted wasn’t aware - nor did I think he cared. Bottom line- there is a Walmart and other restaurants up the road; as well as other hotels. Pick one.
