The hotel is very new, the decoration and facilities are well designed, and the services are in place. There is a spacious and bright public area on the second floor where you can drink tea and coffee for free, which is suitable for simple business meetings. It is walking distance from BART station, Amtrak train station, and Chinatown, which is very convenient. The only thing that needs to be considered is the surrounding safety issues. Because it is located in the city center and the city hall is right outside the window. There are many homeless people, so try to go out as little as possible at night.
I dealt with Enrique and Renee and they were amazing so helpful and sweet. It was my first time in Oakland and they told me about all the amazing places to go see and vist. They were always making sure I was ok and if I needed anything. Definitely will return because of those two.
After a rough experience before arriving at the hotel—my car’s back window was smashed, and a piece of my luggage was stolen—I checked in feeling quite shaken. From the moment I arrived, the hotel staff showed genuine kindness and support. Special thanks to Philippios and Armando from valet parking, who went above and beyond by spending two hours helping me clean up the broken glass and patching my back window, ensuring I could drive home safely the next day. Their incredible hospitality has made me a loyal Hyatt customer for life.

Overall good, great value for money. There is no breakfast (additional charge), and parking is subject to an additional charge. Maybe the Chinese are not very used, others are ok. The transportation is also convenient.
Honestly, I’ve been in some not so great hotels near airports so I did not have high hopes, but wanted to be close for an early morning flight. To my delight this SpringHill is the best I’ve been in. It feels new and is clean and the room is spacious. The area is quiet, and the hotel offers a shuttle not only to and from the airport, but also from the rental car center. We called and the driver picked us up within 10 minutes as promised. There is a full restaurant and bar, to boot.
We spent 4 days in Oakhurst as a base to visit Yosemite, it will take you 30 minutes to the entrance of Yosemite park and an additional hour to the valley. The hotel is new, the fitness room is small but there is everything you need for a workout, pool is nice even we had to ask for pool towels every time we took the kids swimming. Breakfast is good, even if they limit the amount of food you can eat ( on some breakfast items it’s clearly stated ‘one per guest’). Rooms are nice, even if we could hear everything our neighbours were saying or watching on tv. My biggest problem with this hotel is the staff! They are the most unwelcoming hotel staff I have ever met. If you walked into reception they won’t even acknowledge you, when you ask for something it seems like you are bothering them. I just didn’t like their attitude, unprofessional and rude. We asked to get our room serviced everyday, they didn’t clean it until our last day ( even if I reminded them every day)and when they cleaned it, they only gave us some fresh towels ( it’s the only hotel in the world that won’t make Your bed if your pjs are in the bed!).
I stayed at this hotel March 28th with a disabled friend and it was a horrible experience. The staff were friendly but the service was nonexistent. I requested and even tipped the housekeeping to clean our room but no service was provided. The room was infested with cockroaches and the staff seemed indifferent to the situation. I was moved to another room but the damage was done. I wanted to check out immediately but my wheelchair bound travel partner was unable to, so I had to stay to assist her. The interior doors are so heavy that a handicapped person in a wheelchair is unable to open them from the inside. The location is unfortunate with a 24 hour security guard. There were still vehicles with broken windows in the parking lot. I don't recommend this hotel at all!
It was convenient on the airport side. The type of room was different from the reservation, but it changed as soon as I told it. The original room was convenient near the front desk, so I stayed without changing it, but I apologized for the drinks and snacks!
The Claremont hotel is amazing. From the time you park until you reach your room the customer We service is impeccable. I stayed for a professional event. The setup and service was top notch, the staff was professional, friendly and accommodating Recommend 100%

GGuest UserI have been staying at this location since I first started visiting the Bay area about a year ago. I feel in love with the location right on the water a few minutes walk from Starbucks and other venues, Such a romantic locale. Comfortable, luxuriously so. The staff are always helpful and take care all my needs and check on my comfort every single day! The breakfasts always include fresh fruits, eggs and you can make your own waffles, I love the coffee it always tends to add that extra point to my stay! Above all I feel like I'm coming home to family when i return here and I will be return for a long time simply because I feel welcomed here.
GGuest UserThe hotel decoration and facilities are very new. The front office service staff have a very good attitude. They will take the initiative to say hello to the guests no matter when they come in or out, making them feel at home. At the same time, I also hope that the hotel will strengthen training and management and get better and better in the future. The air conditioner is unified and cooled. I didn't tell you in advance. The temperature is a bit low when you sleep at night and you will feel a bit cold.

Very Good
Hotel is easy to find near major intersection and close to airport. Came in very late and it was about a 20 minute drive from the airport to the hotel. I just wanted to comment that the moderately priced hotel has an unexpected add on. I did not feel comfortable driving around the area to try to find a parking space and there is no parking garage so the Valet parking was $50 per day. (OUCH) But i guess this is common in the area according to the front desk. Hotel is remodeled and all accommodation's were nice. Newer fixtures in the room and the bed was comfortable. Internet was fast and the TV was an appropriate size. The shower took about 10 minutes to warm up , but I was on the top floor. Breakfast was the standard Hampton b-fast which was warm and a decent selection of products such as cereal and hot oatmeal, eggs and bacon. Check out was easy and the valet parking was a phone call and about a 10 minute wait, so plan accordingly when leaving as there might be a short wait. Leaving the hotel and getting back on the freeway was quick and easy....
GGuest UserI stay at the property every time I visit my family and friends in the bay area. I always can count on a clean quiet room and good service. I typically check in at night and there is always a nice staff member regardless the day that I check in. The food is good as well as I have tried several items.
GGuest UserI stayed here for 5 days and found the motel clean and comfortable. Due to covid, I requested that my room not be cleaned and they were very nice about giving me towels, extra toilet paper, etc. The rooms are on the smaller side, but that’s nothing I didn’t already expect due to its location. There’s plenty of restaurants in the area, which is nice. The only thing that I disliked was that the bathroom lights are motion sensored so there were times I’d be taking a shower and all of a sudden it would be dark. Besides that, a great place to stay for a good price!
ZZHUOBooked in a two-bedroom apartment suite, there are two rooms, each with a double bed and bathroom, a kitchen and living room in the middle, a microwave oven with a microwave oven, and a cup, plate and dishware. Very suitable for family living. There is a big bird on the tree outside the small balcony. There are many yachts in the small bay. Walking along the front road to the right, there is a German restaurant, German sausage and beer taste really good. The hotel's free breakfast is OK. Three kinds of sausages are eaten a day. One day there are bacon patties sausages, milk cereals, homemade waffles, and several kinds of bread jams. Originally, I wanted to live in San Francisco, but I said that the roads in the city are relatively ups and downs, the one-way line is complicated, and the parking cost is high. So I live in Auckland. It is convenient to drive the Auckland Bridge to San Francisco for two consecutive days. I found a Guilin rice noodle shop nearby in the evening, and it tastes so good! ! !
AAnonymous UserDoesn’t have any inside windows but if you from any windows actually very green many food spots and many stores nearby are walking distance and BART which is a form of transportation is very close by I really like everything about this room very cozy very clean and the customer service is fantastic here every time
MmadsillyBreakfast is ok. No toothbrushes and slippers, no hotels in the United States. There is no heating and air conditioning, it will be very cold in December, I added a quilt. Downstairs security is OK, there is a restaurant, close to a commercial area by the sea, homeless people are much less than San Francisco. The train next to it will be very noisy and it is recommended to stay on the other side of the train. The room was large and there was a desk, but I didn't even have a chandelier above my head. I don't know why, the light is very dark.
王王Breakfast is good. In order to see the Warriors' game live here, I like the shuttle bus service. Because of the law and order in Auckland, it is quite late to watch the game. It is just that the hotel can pick up and drop off to watch the game and call to wait a few minutes to get there. If a person comes to the game, recommend this hotel.
GGuest UserThis was the worst hotel out of 4 sub $75 hotels I stayed in during my trip to SF - and was the most expensive! Their advertising is deceptive, rooms are in incredibly poor shape, and is in a bad area. I would never consider staying here again! It's cheap lodging, so I'm not gonna complain about the datedness of the rooms, but they were also in poor condition. The shower valve leaked, and the shower temperature would vary between freezing cold and scalding hot. The refrigerator made a constant tapping sound. Most frighteningly, the swing bar door latch was broken. This is a safety risk, and literally a $5, 4 screw replacement. Beyond this, there were also cigarette butt holes in the bedding, and the bathroom window was wide open without a screen when I arrived. I decided to stay anyways, because by the time I checked in I didn't feel like going elsewhere. Around 12:30AM I was woken up to a woman screaming and yelling. I perceive this was in the parking lot. It woke up many other guests too, as I could hear them talking outside my room afterwards. I didn't go to check it out, but I did not see the police respond so I assume this is a common occurrence and the management does not care. Maybe I'm wrong, but I just wanted to go back to bed. An important note is this hotel is directly across from small buildings erected for the homeless to live. This in itself does not make me greatly uncomfortable, but I know it would make some other people feel this way. In the morning, I went to get breakfast, as advertised on their direct website as well as on the site I booked on. The staff member said they no longer offered breakfast ”due to covid-19”, but said the change was made very recently and they have not updated their website. Every other hotel I stayed at offered at least a takeout breakfast or better with the current covid situation (March 2022). They did not offer any discount because of this. They wouldn't even refund their ”Resort fee” in this consideration. On my way to a fast food place for breakfast I was chased by a homeless man, not exactly an issue of the hotel's, but it well represents the type of area it's in. I don't look for any sort of luxury stay for less than $75, but really this hotel is not worth it. It ended up being $86 after their resort fee, and for $15 more I could of stayed in a much nicer hotel. The only positive comment I have is the wifi was decent.
