GGuest UserThe shower pressure was extremely low, and the water did not get close to hot in my first room, and the toilet did not work. The couch was counted as one bed, and the iron useless. This information was not disclosed on the reservation website. Imagine getting ready for a funeral while the toilet, shower, and iron were all broken, my 11-year-old daughter is a type 1 diabetic, the refrigerator was not cold, and the medication needed to be refrigerated, it eventually warmed up after 2-3 hours. After my family funeral services, I came back to the hotel to relax, so me and family proceeded to the pool where, after changing rooms, I discovered cockroaches by the pool (”I showed the front desk the pictures”). It was incredibly troubling not being able to rest and unwind because I was already mentally and physically exhausted. I was of course offered points I guess for a free stay but actually the room should have been taken off. Again, the ladies at the front desk were very sweet but unfortunately, I was not able to relax. I unfortunately, will not post pictures because it was already disclosed to the front desk. I just had to rant due to my troubles.
GGuest UserGuest House was beautiful. It felt as if I was walking into a movie scene. Very beautiful place. They have a movie theater with free Elvis movies each night, food was excellent and service was superb. Location is great and very secure. I would highly recommend to anyone in the area. I wish we could have stayed longer.
MMark DuncanThis is a great hotel with nice clean rooms and comfy bed. Lovely big TV in the room with accessible HDMI port for bringing your own device. I know you don’t book into a hotel to lie and watch TV but it’s nice to catch up on things after a long day out. Location is excellent as no more than 10 min walk to downtown Beale St, and 20 mins to Sun Studios, where the magic began. Reception being renovated while we were there so not quite as functional as it should be but staff were terrific and incredibly polite. Rocky the concierge/manager was a bundle of fun and provided some great info on what to do in this great city 👍
GGuest UserThe hotel location wasn't bad. Loved the Elvis homage.... room wasn't the cleanest, bathroom and walls could use a good clean and paint job. Didn't have breakfast. So I can't say much. But for the price I paid, I can't complain. Don't mind going back there.
SSuzanne BeauchampLocation was fantastic - close to River park access and street car line. Room was spacious and clean. Shower was good for tall people and had adequate pressure to rinse shampoo from hair. Best thing about this hotel was the staff. So friendly, so helpful.
LLeilani BradshawI enjoyed my stay. During my visit with Four Points by Sheraton Memphis -Southwind they had a promotion on breakfast (“Breakfast for a Buck” )You could choose from all breakfast entrees for only a dollar ($1.00). This also included a beverage of your choice. The restaurant/bar does offer very good options for food and drinks. Also, the front desk and staff were pleasant. I had a problem with the A/C in my first room that was quickly resolved. My room was clean and tidy. Thumbs up 👍🏼! I’m looking forward to staying at Four Points by Sheraton- Southwind again while visiting Memphis. Thanks!
GGattaThe motel is very close to the center so it is very easy and comfortable to get there. The good thing was that it is in a gated property so at least it feels safe. I reserved a room for three people but they provided just two sets of towels. The room had the basic. TV, no fridge. The main problem I had was the clean. The room did not feel clean at all. The beds were changed, but under the bed the dust and dirt was disgusting. The floor probably has not been clean from a very long time and there was a condom wrap open under the bed. The walls and doors had spots all over . Overpriced for what you get.
