Room was in the basement of a building. Very loud laundry facility right outside the door.

This place is a dump. Upon our arrival, we were informed that our room would be at another location. We were transported in a construction van. When I asked where were we to go for our “free” breakfast, we were told that we would have to make our own way back to the original site. My husband has mobility issues so that was out of the question. The blanket had holes in it and there wasn’t even a bedspread. The furniture was 1970’ vintage and the floors were so dirty that I put towels down so we could wipe our feet before getting into the bed. The pictures of the rooms posted by the hotel are NOT what we experienced, and certainly no fireplace.

The room was on the second floor. There was dog poop on the carpet on the stairs. When you walked in the room it reeked of dogs. The linens had stains on them. The picture is not what the houses that are actually Abbey Archway Inn.

I think everything is fine, but one day at 6am a person knocked on the door very loudly, he woke us up to ask my name and when we were to check in. They're supposed to have record books, I disapprove of that.

We arrived at 2 am. No one would come to the desk. We called twice on phone and stood in what we thought was the office. Finally someone came. He asked us where our cab was and we stated he left. He reluctantly drove us about a mile and a half to the building where our room was located. Our room was awful. We had to crawl over a decrepit old chair to get to the bathroom. The door would not close. The water was yellow. It was creepy. We covered the sheets with bath towels before we would sleep on them. We stayed for about 5 hours, called a cab and left. The photos are very deceiving!

I was sick when I arrived and the room was in terrible condition. I should get some kind of refund. There were dirty socks under the bed and 2ins. of dust. The vents had dust in them. Enclosed are a few pictures with problems I saw. Mostly dust where things weren't cleaned.

I liked how rustic it is and how close it is to several places, what I didn't like was that I stayed 5 days and they never cleaned the bedroom or the bathroom, I think that cleanliness is the most important thing, especially in the bathroom, the very dirty curtains could be changed more often

I was disappointed in the condition of the property and the room needing cleaning such as the floors and fan. Some things in the room didn't work. TV was confusing to operate.
