Courtyard Denver Aurora

I the temperature was -6 outside and I couldn’t get the chill out of room for 5 hr. Once it reached 72, it started blowing cold air. Maintenance guy never showed but then canceled him after 3 hrs. Of waiting. I played with everything and finally it was finally tolerable

This place has been so accommodating with continually letting us add a day at a time to our stay and not making us move rooms as my wife had and recovers from brain surgery!

We were very disappointed that although regular hours were posted for the Bistro it was in fact closed due to staffing issues. A sign would have been nice as I waited a while until somebody at the front desk came over to tell me that it was not open

You can hear noises from the hallway all night long . Doors from other rooms open and close is like you think someone opens your doors . No staff in the hotel . One person is serving breakfast or is in reception you need to wait 30 minutes to get a coffee. They should have a least one more person in morning to help.

The property was new and quiet. The general staff was wonderful and accommodating. If you are disabled, keep in mind that you have to walk across a driveway to get to a parking garage as theres no designated disabled parking around/near the building.

Location is rather isolated in what seems to be a residential area and there are no dining options in the hotel or nearby. The hotel is clean and what you would expect from a Courtyard.

Where should I start? Hotel looks new but the design of the room is extra weird. I stayed in over 30 hotel rooms this year and this was the weirdest one so far. Room was HUGE but only 1 bed and a lot of empty space. (room 205) TV location is bad. Even though it has an extension system, the angle you will be able to watch the screen while laying in bed is off. Bathroom: toilet bowl was the smallest ever, it reminded me on the one in kindergarten . Shampoo/Conditioner bottle location in shower area is way off. It should be under the shower, but it is on the opposite side, having to 'walk' 2 steps to pump shampoo/body wash, while shower floor is slippery (dangerous). Hair dryer is hanging over the toilet instead of next to the mirror where you would be using it while looking at the mirror. Window was looking at the back of the building and there were some debris still visible on the ledge of the balcony. There is no coffee machine available at all times at the Lobby, like you would see in many many other hotel chains. Since I booked my hotel with a 3rd party, the 'treatment' you get at the reception, is also 3rd class... It feels like your money is not worth the same as if you booked directly with the hotel chain app. It was a clean hotel and close to I-70 which was what I was looking for during my stay. If I had to rate the hotel from 1-to-10, I would rate it as a 7.

Again, the team was great and the facility clean and calm. I felt at home!

Great experience. A little upset about a 7AM fire drill that we weren’t informed about, but other than that great stay!
