The bedrooms were clean and comfortable for a 2-star hotel, but needed a lot of maintenance. Lights didn't work. There was a hole in the inside of the sliding door to the bathroom where the handle should have been and it had come off its supports and flapped every time it was opened and closed. The power point in the bathroom was wired to the light circuit and would work only when the lights were on - a very big NO NO for electrical safety. Staff were welcoming and helpful and the view over the lake was tremendous. With a bit of tender loving care, this could be a very nice hotel.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this hotel. Lovely view Over the lake. Owner/chef cooks really good meals. Staff are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay. Good location for seeing the area around.

Comfortable room. New bedding. 160 bed. Brilliant view of the lake Very caring team. Hearty breakfast. Charming old but comfortable and family hotel. We did not have time to have lunch at the restaurant with a great view. There were a lot of people

Very nice place with magnificent view of the Lac Tranquille of F-R de Chateaubriant. A large room where there is a healthy and reassuring atmosphere despite the complicated period. Un excellent accueil dans un joli cadre, vue sur le lac et sa nature. Une chambre propre et une literie confortable, lieu très silencieux, propice au repos. Petit bémol, le parking trop petit sinon tout bien. On reviendra !
