H10 Ocean Suites

Amazing hotel, our whole stay was fantastic, great pools and right in the centre! Would recommend

This was our 4th visit to H10 Ocean Suites, and it turned out to be the best ever! So why did we enjoy it even more than usual? Well, first of all we were allocated two rooms next to each other in a part of the hotel that is very convenient for all the facilities - a great start. Staff, whether Reception, Restaurant, Cleaners, Public Relations or anyone in fact, were friendly and helpful. In particular we were impressed with the restaurant at breakfast and evening meal. There was a wide range of food options, including a good selection of vegetarian and pescatarian choices - a massive improvement compared with our last visit. The vegetables were not overcooked and allowed me to enjoy a varied and interesting menu, unlike some other hotels. And the pizzas were fantastic! I was also impressed with the carrot cake which was available on several evenings - yum! We've always enjoyed the draught beer at H10 hotels, and the reasonable prices for a hotel bar. Although there was some building work taking place above the bar / reception area, it didn't create much noise and was actually quite entertaining ... So it was a great holiday with fantastic weather as always, offering a lovely break from the weather in the UK. Thank you to everyone at H10 Ocean Suites for making our winter holiday so memorable!

Just returned from a very relaxing 11 nights stay. We had a poolside view (room 402) . Room was clean and spacious albeit with very tired decor. Room service cleaned the room daily . Bed was uncomfortable though and pillows were poor quality . No coffee or tea making facilities in the room which was strange , as I cannot recall ever not having these basic facilities provided in all of the holiday destinations I’ve stayed in over the last 20 years . (Top tip: bring your own as they’ll charge you to hire a kettle 😝) We booked all inclusive which in hindsight was probably a waste of money . One main restaurant on site offering buffet style food , for breakfast , lunch and dinner. Soon became bored of the same old bland food at dinner so ate out most evenings. Did manage to book one meal at the Mamma Mia (second restaurant on site but can only book once during your stay ) as I thought this offered some premium dining options. Sadly I was disappointed as it was basic pizza and pasta dishes only . Was not offered any welcome drinks on arrival at the restaurant where others were. Waited over two hours for our main and gave up on dessert . Service was incredibly slow with the staff on duty inattentive and indifferent . Was given feedback cards which I completed before leaving restaurant. The main reception area has one tiny bar serving the hotel during the evening . Always had a queue for drinks and seemed way too small , especially compared to the lower ground floor bar which only stayed open until 10pm most evenings and was largely deserted . I did raise with one of the many roving managers who walked around but was told that “yes we are aware and are building a roof top area” There is a pool side bar that opens at 11 am but this doesn’t offer any food or snacks. No shop on site either . In summary , it’s a pleasant and clean hotel with majority of staff being very friendly. There does appear to be a Them and Us culture with staff and hotel management as there always appeared to be people in suits walking about with their noses in the air. Staff clearly appeared wary of these individuals . The hotel is in a prime location as it’s a short walk into the main town and harbour area where you can enjoy a wider selection of food and drink. For us there was no incentive to stay too long in the hotel as the evening entertainment was sadly lacking and there’s a great choice of bars and restaurants to visit outside . Music square is also a great place to eat , drink and people watch . Note to Hotel management : make your guests feel special : keep them on site and have them spend their money here rather than outside if you really care . Where’s the Paella or Tapas offerings on the menu ? Welcome guests when they arrive etc

Flew to Fuerteventura with Easyjet and Tui holidays. Was all inclusive for 7 nights sharing a room with my daughter and asked for the beds to be split. Loved the vibe of the hotel the minute we arrived. Julien checked us in and gave us all the information we needed. I asked for an upgrade (had to pay extra) for a pool view room they were also able to accommodate two room side by side (was travelling with a friend and her kid) If you have kids get a room on the pool side that has the slides. You can email the hotel direct and make the ask. Breakfast is great and in general the food is OK that includes the Italian restaurant which is only open 3 days a week so book when you get there. Re food, I guess it all depends on what you like/don't like. For what we paid I think it was actually pretty good value. Think they could do more Spanish dishes, perhaps some theme nights that are a bit more obvious. Kids didn't use the kids club but I think probably better for the younger kids. The pool and area around the pool is really clean, all the common areas are spotless. All the staff are lovely and are really great with the kids. Showers were hot, pressure really good not a trickle! Overall we had a quiet room, aircon worked really well, had to turn it off at one point was cold. I liked the fact that this is not a big hotel, so feel warm, cosy, inviting rather than soulless. In terms of Correlejo, within a 10 min walk you are at the beach (windy!) and town centre. The Spar supermarket close to the hotel is great and also the restaurant downstairs next to the Spar is brilliant/good value/no fuss if you are bored of the food at the hotel. Download the hotel app very useful. I found the bed hard (old bones maybe LOL), but my kids slept well and the pillow are a bit odd but you do get 3 per bed.

Could not find fault with H10 Ocean Suites situated just off Correlejo’s Main Street. Check in with Serena was very smooth, professional and friendly. I arrived early and she promised she would call me when the room was ready. I got the call within an hour and the room was available. It was a nice size with a seating area within the bedroom and a TV which can swivel towards the couch or the bed. Bathroom was clean, a good size and well equipped with shampoo, shower gel and conditioner. Shower was good. Breakfast was really nice. Fresh omelets available to order. Lots of choices to suit everyone. There are two really nice pools with a snack bar at one serving nice food at reasonable prices. Check out was excellent with Khadija making the extra effort to ensure I could take a shower in a courtesy room before my evening departure. All the staff I met were excellent.

Lovely hotel, public areas in very high standard however bedrooms could do with a bit of TLC. Bed settee was very uncomfortable and stained. Ground floor suite with pool view is ideal and close to pool bar. Staff all very helpful particularly the pool attendant( sorry didn’t get his name but the older Spanish gentleman was so friendly and helpful, always ready to help with umbrellas and sunbeds(5stars) Entertainment could have been better, bingo was not needed

Pool and gardens are beautiful, breakfast and dinner are excellent. Room was good, but floorboards broken. Overall the facility looks allright an attempt was made giving everything a fresh cover of paint. One pool is accessible for less mobile guests. Location to shops and restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance

Very attentive staff and clean hotel throughout. Disappointed to be presented with a €2 bill per day for the safe pool 5 towels that would be swapped once during our stay. Excellent breakfast but dinner options were average with no sushi options during our 7 day stay. Make sure you request a garden or pool view, we had 2 rooms both with wall views 👎🏻 Whatever you do, make sure you get down to secure a sun bed by 8am, otherwise you could be out of luck ✅ Not something I like to prioritise but an absolute necessity. Make sure you check out Waterfall which serves wonderful tapas, especially the goats cheese on toast, with honey and plum tomatoes (a must..!) and an amazing range of beers, the best mojito we could find. Viva was also the place for Pizza, lovely staff 20 mins walk 👍
