This hotel is awful, do not book this hotel, especially for families. We booked this hotel for 4 nights for a baseball tournament. We decided last minute to leave a night early, so I booked an extra night on a separate reservation. We pulled in at 1:30 in the morning, the security guard on an ATV had all entrances blocked and wouldn't let us pull in until we explained that we were checking in for the first time. I went into lobby, and no one was to be found. I waited over 30 mins for the front desk employee to come back. In those 30 mins, I witnessed 3 other guests roaming the property for no apparent reason. One woman came down half-dressed to dig through the ashtrays on the garbage can and smoke the cigarettes left behind. When the employee came back, he reeked of *********. We finally got to our room about 2:15AM and tried to fall asleep. Unfortunately, the person above us paced from about 2:45-7:00AM and we could hear the sliding door to the balcony open and shut every 10 mins. The next morning, we left rather early to run some errands, but when we came back to the hotel around 3:00pm and parked on the side of the hotel where our room was, we noticed a man passed out on one of the balconies. These are not normal balconies; they are Juliet Balconies...so no physical room to sit. This man had wedged himself between the door and the railing and was not moving. We also noticed other random rooms that had house plants on the balconies. We decided to take the kids to the pool, upon walking the halls, we noticed strange men walking through the property and meeting in the corners of the halls. After about 15 mins in the pool, we noticed a woman in a room on the bottom floor next to the pool gate, walk out, escort a man back to her room, escort him out about 30 mins later and then bring back a second man for 30 mins, and then escort him out. It was very clear that she was a **********. We started to get more and more uneasy. It became evident that many of the people at the pool lived at the hotel full time. We then watched what looked like homeless men circle the pool and look in the windows of the hotel rooms. We decided to get out and go report our concerns to the lobby. There was not a manager working at the time, so we asked the front desk to call the manager. They refused but sent an email detailing our concerns. We asked for a refund of the 4-might reservation because we wanted to leave. Our kids did not feel comfortable and were scared and quite frankly, the illegal activities taking place at this hotel made my husband and I uncomfortable. They refused to refund and refused to let us speak to a manager. Still to this day, I have received no phone call and it has been two weeks. Davis the sales manager was completely rude, condescending, called us liars and was very patronizing. This place is the absolute worst. When we moved hotels, the front desk of our new hotel confirmed that the Vanllee receives governmen

Arrived at the hotel late at night and accidentally left my sneakers in the lobby. My husband went downstairs about 5 hours later to find them and ask the front desk girl, Janelle, if she had seen any sneakers. She said yes she did but she doesn’t know where they are. He asked if she put them in the lost and found and she said that it wasn’t her job to do that and that she wouldn’t touch those things. He asked why she didn’t call us after we checked in so we could come grab them. She responded that we were the ones that left them and it wasn’t her responsibility. I finally met him I’m the lobby and he told me about her bizarre behavior. I looked in the trash cans. I went outside and doing my shoes in the dirt behind a bush. I brought them into the hotel and showed her my shoes. I asked her why she would throw them in the dirt. At first she denied it then responded with I didn’t have time to deal with shoes. I told her her customer service was horrible and that she was lazy. She looked at me and said YOU ARE UGLY. I was shocked and speechless. We returned to the room and called down to talk to a manager. (Shock, no manager on duty for the whole weekend). The same girl, Janelle, said we were harassing her and she would call the cops to have us escorted off property. WHAT???? I called corporate and they took a report but never returned my call the rest of the weekend. I guess a bunch of rude, incompetent children are running this hotel and no management around to keep them in line.

I've stayed at this location multiple times for Cal Poly Pomona activities. Walking distance to many stores and fast food type restaurants. I. E. Ikea, Walmart, Target, Sprouts, Dicks, Marshalls, Ulta, In and Out, Chipotle, Hawaiian BBQ, AkiPoki etc. Not the closest hotel to Cal Poly Pomona but can easily get to/from the college. Have stayed in multiple room types (double, king, king executive) over the last year. It's a little older hotel that could use some fixes/touch ups in the bathrooms but overall comfortable and clean. Microwave and mini fridge was very useful for us. Latest visit, the shower head should be replaced. Lots of water pressure but spray wasn't adjustable. This trip was short but have spent a week in an Executive King. The sitting area (sofa/TV) is between where the bed is and the bathroom. If you get up alot during the night I suggest packing a night light for the bathroom. Also, recommend requesting a room away from freeway if freeway traffic will bother you. Noticed it more the first night and not so much after. Hotel staff always friendly and helpful. Front desk, housekeeping and dining area all very professional and welcoming. Did not get room cleaned but housekeeping did knock on the door to ask if we needed any items. Two USB-A phone charger on alarm clock next to bed. Need adapter if only Type C. Free parking is nice. Would see security guard walking/patrolling the premises in the evenings.
