I booked for Family Two Double room. However we checked in after dinner (but we dropped off our luggages at 6pm under our name) they said this type of rooms are fully booked and kindly upgrade to a room to a suite. It’s very kind of that but we really don’t want to sleep on a sofa bed we told them many times. They promised someone will come help fixing the sofa bed and the room is nice.
However, when the man arrived he said we should request for a sofa bed when we make the booking so that house keeping can help. We told him originally we booked a two queen beds room, he keeps repeating that we didn’t request earlier.
He opened the sofa bed with only dirty
mattress then asked us whether we have our own bedding?!?!?! Of coz not!! He said he will go and find some hotels one and then comes back and asked us to do the bedding ourselves! LOL
Finally he offers help to fix the bedding but we feels sorry to him sounds like that’s not his duty, we let him go and do it ourselves.
I am quite surprised and wonder we paid 200 pounds per night for 4 stars hotel but I have to do my bedding myself and being blamed by staff.
The air con seems broken the mode cannot be change from heater to air con mode, i tried to set to 20C but ended up goes up to 24.8C in 3 hrs and I am sweating, I called someone to fix it and the same staff told me to turn the whole thing off and open the window so the room will cool down! LOL I don’t want to be frozen in bed the next morning under 2C outside. I insisted to fix the air con and he pressed the whole thing with few buttons together hardly for like 20 times which scared me, it’s turns to air con mode magically !!! But still the set temperature can’t goes up higher than 21C. Anyway, better than sauna or in the freezer. Finally I can rest and pleased that I can check out the next morning. This hotel is nice and clean, parking is convenient, that’s why i came back the 2nd time. However this experience was terrible. 😢
