Wyndham Costa del Sol Cusco

This is a beautiful building in a great location. The doormen and reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean with most amenities. I was however quite shocked to find paper cups in the room to drink tea from. I’ve never come across that before! I had to put one inside another so’s it didn’t bend when I picked it up. The bed was large and comfortable although it was quite noisy from very early in the morning as breakfast starts at 4.30. Breakfast was adequate although we found it hard to get orange juice. Papaya was the juice on offer . The bar and restaurant were very good. A great hotel in a great location to explore Cusco.

Andean Wings Boutique Hotel

I stayed there travelling solo for 4 nights. During my stay all members of the staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was on order from a small but perfectly adequate menu and really enjoyed everything I tried. The room was big and comfortable, followed the instructions for hot water etc and had no issues. WiFi in my room worked with the bar ID very well for streaming etc. The room is by the street and can be a bit noisy in the evening but this didn't spoil my stay, Location is very convenient and to me it felt safe to walk back from the main square in the evening (only a couple of blocks).
Hotel Cusco Plaza Saphi

I was looking for a way to avoid being in a packed hostel during the pandemic, and this hotel was perfect for me. Notable features: 1) 24-hour check-in/check-out (great for when you have to leave very early for a hiking trip) 2) Included breakfast (while I was there it was just a simple breakfast of bread, sliced cheese, sliced meat, and fruit, which was fine for a relatively short stay. If you're there for longer, you might try local restaurants nearby some days since they're not expensive). 3) Private bathroom 4) Fantastic location near the Plaza de Armas (so you can come back in the middle of the day to use the wifi if needed). 5) Helpful and friendly receptionists. I'd recommend bringing earplugs since (depending on the room) street noise can be a bit loud or sound might echo from the common area. However, when balancing the amenities with the price, the overall value is fantastic.
El Truco Boutique Hotel

This hotel was built in a colonial era. This family originally belonged to a general. The decoration is quite good, the bathroom is super nice and comfortable, the surrounding area is directly to the square, and it is 10 minutes walk from the city attractions. Because there is a city mayor next to it, this place is 24/7 safe. Includes breakfast (buffet).
Turi Wasi House Boutique

We arrived at Turiwasi without any real expectations of a hotel. After all, ”boutique” encompasses so many things... Upon entering we were transported into a beautiful place with original Inca architecture at the very back (huge monoliths). Liz greeted us and showed us to our rooms where we found them to be quite big and with all the necessary things one needs on a short stay. When we left for the daily tour I found a guidebook on my way out and Liz was kind enough to let me borrow it for the next few days (even the days when we did not stay with them). Breakfast was delicious (especially the coffee). And the staff were kind enough to offer me some of the coffee grains they use for me to take home with me. Sadly, we left earlier than expected and I did not get to take the coffee with me, but the staff did everything possible to get it there on time. The location is incredible. You are 10 steps away from the Plaza de Armas.
