First time being in Dali and we moved over to Shuanglang (双廊) from Dali Gucheng (大理古城) to explore the east side of Erhai. The location is about a 5-10min walk from Shuanglang Guzhen's South Entrance （双廊古镇南门口）. However, the place is located on top of a hill. Hence, we needed to contact the butler (管家/客服) to chauffeur us from below to the place or vice versa when we needed to head out. While there's no lift, the butler was also really helpful to carry our luggage up and down the apartment. See pictures for reference of the view of our room - really beautiful. Our room is fairly clean, with house cleaning everyday. Just a thing to note is there's no area to hang your clothes in the shower area 😅 In terms of service, they were really nice and helpful! Chauffeuring us up and down each time we went out~ just fyi, there's cooked breakfast at the pantry every morning! Not going to lie, it was a proper meal (a bowl of mixian noodles, with cut fruits and a boiled egg). For foreign guests like myself who don't have a local Chinese number, you can contact them via WeChat. Ps: if you're planning to travel around the cities, feel free to ask them if they can get discounted rides for you. Otherwise calling Didi (ride hailing service) or checking local tours can be helpful :)

The room is actually better than the photos. The layout is very reasonable and the facilities are very new. The hygiene is very clean and well managed. It is very quiet at night. The pillows are especially comfortable. I slept well all night. The staff is very reliable. Every time I find him, he will reply and solve the problem quickly. I will buy from this hotel again. I went into the room and checked it. There was no flaw. I give a thumbs up to the cleaning. The surrounding scenery is also beautiful. Watching the sunset in the evening is really amazing! I really recommend it! The hotel's food is also delicious and the service attitude is great!

The sea view room in Shuanglang Ancient Town is very spacious, with a very good design concept and a great view of the sea. The thin lady was very enthusiastic and helped us move our luggage to the room by tricycle. She also took a lot of beautiful photos for us, leaving us with beautiful memories.
