The view was truly amazing and the room was clean. Staff was really attentive as well and breakfast spread provided was good. One downside is the soundproofing wasnt that great and you can hear the water pipes/people climbing the stairs. So if you’re a light sleeper, you may wanna wear some ear plugs. They also collaborate with drivers for you to engage and tour around Dali, I think you can skip it as I feel the service provided by the driver wasnt that great. Overall I will still recommend this hotel for the view and the convenience of the location (just less than 10min drive away from the railway station and around 30min to oldtown).

We had a 2-night stay and the room was on the first floor. There's an elevator that makes it easy to go to higher floors, which is great if you're carrying big or heavy luggage. Even though the room is near the parking lot and people walking by, it was surprisingly soundproof, and we slept well at night. The room and toilet were very clean, and the bed was super soft. Breakfast was good, and the location is close to Dali Railway Station, though a bit far from the ancient town. The staff was incredibly helpful and polite. The hotel is in a fantastic spot, with the lake right in front, perfect for a leisurely walk during the day or night. We also had free shuttle service from the railway station to the hotel, but not the other way around. For Muslim, there's no halal restaurant nearby. Need to walk about 1.2km, about 20mins. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay!

Absolutely loved my stay at The Lakeview! The view of the lake was simply gorgeous and truly the highlight of the experience. The room was cosy and well-equipped, with lots of thoughtful free gifts. The pillows and mattress were super comfortable, giving me a great night’s sleep. The butler was very helpful and attentive. I especially appreciated the in-room washer and dryer — such a convenience! Plus, they use Apothecary products for toiletries, which I absolutely loved. Highly recommended!
