Superb hotel .in magnificent grounds . Clean modern room superb restaurant fabulous food . Great service highly recommend to anyone visiting the area amazing sunrises over the extensive parkland grounds . Convenient for milton Keynes and beyond Superb value for money

Had a lovely stay at this hotel for a nearby festival. Food was amazing and we were well looked after. Staff very friendly, especially Dev in the bar area. I ask if we could could watch the Grand Prix in the bar on the Sunday, he set us up a table right in front of a large screen and served us Sunday carvery. Room clean and well equipped. Hoping to stay for the British Grand Prix weekend next year.

The whole experience staying in this lovely Hotel was brilliant. Super friendly and professional staff. I'm a harsh critic and can honestly say there is not a single negative regarding our stay. The room was exceptionally clean with the most comfortable bed and pillows. Great shower and water pressure. Plenty of large fluffy towels. We chose to eat on the pretty terrace overlooking the lake. I'd highly recommend the Blue Elephant chicken curry. A good sized modern driving range with toptracer. I'd stay again.

Fantastic place to stay, being so close to Milton Keynes centre. Had an amazing room with a view and was so chilled out. Staff were so friendly and very helpful. We ate in the restaurant and the food was very good. Would definitely recommend coming here. We will definitely be back soon.

I travel a lot on business and in particular end up in Milton Keynes on a regular basis. I have my fave hotels to stay in. One is the Doubletree MK stadium, which isn’t a separate review. My preference is the kingfisher. When you’ve driven over 300 miles in a day. You want to go somewhere quiet and have zero hassle. Which is why I stay here. Generally I will order food to the hotel and have the breakfast in the morning. It’s really quiet, rooms are big and all have a good view of the river or course. Can’t recommend enough. I’m even booked in next week.

A strong recommend. We chanced a booking as we were visiting Bletchley Park the following day, and wanted to stay somewhere a little different rather than the normal Premier Inn type locations. The entire experience was excellent... and on reflection we feel it was driven by ALL staff having high standards that drove what they did and how they did it. On arrival, a guy cleaning outside saw us pull up and asked if we were looking for reception, and so where we could find it. Not his job... he just did it out of politeness. On the way back from checking in he then asked which room we were in so he could direct us to park as near to it as possible without us having to hunt where it was. We booked brekky, and so wanting to leave room for it, and not being massively hungry anyway, we just had a small snack between us of satay chicken and a side of fries for our evening meal. It was perfect... with the fries having been given a coating of herbs which made them REALLY tasty. And as for the brekky... don't order a Full English unless you're up for the challenge! Two of everything, all of which was cooked perfectly. Fruit, fruit juice, tea, coffee, pastries etc. all there on a 'help yourself' basis. Brekky staff really friendly and helpful. Room was immaculately clean, and certainly comfortable, with small signs everywhere explaining how to use things so you don't need to figure it out for yourself. Never seen it done to such a (helpful) extent before. The venue is quiet, and I think there were only a handful of couples staying when we were there. So if you like busy hotels where you have to queue for things and the bar is noisy then the place may not be for you. For a relaxing one-night stay for us though, it was perfect. I always say that a hotel is just a building, and it's the staff who make or break it. They certainly make the difference here, making us feel welcomed and valued throughout our stay. it was on reflection afterwards that we realised the simplicity of driving the quality experience... hire people who have high personal standards that they want to work to - and hence the title for this review.

The staff made us feel very welcome and the service at our meal for 13 was great with an excellent menu choice. Well done to Elgon and Dev we have all really enjoyed ourselves. The hotel rooms are very clean and well stocked given us a good nights sleep.

This was a single night stay and was a last minute overnight stay idea for my partner and I. Its a lovely hotel, in between Buckingham and Milton Keynes, I have passed it many times but never knew it was here due to it being off the main road and down a country lane. The rooms are laid out in a US motel style and you can park directly outside your room. The room was very clean and modern and the WiFi was good. The breakfast was also of a high standard. I would definitely be happy to stay again.
