I stayed at West Park Inn, Dhaka, and it was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. First off, when I arrived, the owner was sitting in the restaurant near the lobby and actually tried to force me into staying! He insisted on taking the entire payment upfront immediately—which is beyond unprofessional. It felt like he was more concerned about getting his money than actually providing a decent stay. The room itself was awful—tiny, with terrible hygiene. The bathroom was dirty, the bed had stains, and the facilities were barely functional. But the worst part? There was a mouse/rat running around in my room! When I told the staff, they casually brushed it off, saying, "It’s harmless, it comes and goes, especially where there is food." I couldn’t believe it! The general condition of the hotel is poor—very outdated, with no attention to cleanliness or maintenance. It felt like I was in a place where no effort was made to maintain even the basic standards. The only positive thing I can say is that the General Manager was kind and understanding. He quickly understood why I wanted to leave and canceled my booking without any hassle. Honestly, I would never stay here again and wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. There are so many better options in Dhaka. Avoid at all costs!
