The location of Hotel Tropical Daisy is excellent and very convenient, especially for getting around the city. That was definitely the best part of our stay. The room cleanliness was acceptable—okay overall, but there is room for improvement in terms of maintenance and attention to detail. Unfortunately, the service did not meet expectations. Staff responsiveness and support were quite limited, which affected the overall experience. The facilities were also below average; they felt outdated and lacked some basic comforts that travelers usually expect. Overall, this hotel may be suitable if location is your top priority, but improvements in service quality and facilities would make a big difference. This stay was as a couple, and while the location worked well, the overall experience was mixed.

Location was very good and close to everything I needed. The room was not clean and there were many mosquitoes, which made the stay uncomfortable. Service was slow and unresponsive. Facilities were basic and did not match the expected standard. Overall, the hotel needs better hygiene and proper pest control.

The hotel is located in the Gurjan district of the new city, about a 10-minute walk from the Westin Hotel in the center of town. As many other people have mentioned, there's a river right in front of the hotel, so mosquitoes are inevitable given the country's culture. Even with the doors closed, there were holes in the ceiling that kept letting in mosquitoes. Having read reviews, I brought along some mosquito repellent spray, and after a few squirts, I haven't seen a single mosquito since. Highly recommended.
