We stayed here April 2023 for two nights and had a very nice stay. Here are our observations/experiences that also factor items such as: what we knew prior to booking (type and cost of lodging), historical variables, total value for the money and comparisons with similar experiences – we greatly appreciate travelers who have provided reviews for our vacation planning and hope this info helps you too 😊: THE GOOD STUFF: • Hotel staff accommodating, friendly and helpful. • Elevator available • Parking next to hotel, very convenient, paid for as part of stay • In historical section of town, wonderful location • We had a corner room (called one queen, upper) that had three huge windows that opened, glad we had these as it was a bit warm while we were there • Excellent water pressure • Good breakfast – food was spread out in different rooms. Choices included: fresh fruit salad, dried fruits (prunes, apricots), jams (tiny jars), fresh eggs (cook your own in hot water bath), meats and cheeses (individual servings on saucers covered in clear plastic wrap), coffee, tea (many choices), juices (orange, apple); pastries were brought to table (croissants, baguettes, sweet) • Toiletries provided: soap, shampoo, tissues • Daily housekeeping AWARENESS STUFF: • WiFi minimal; have to log back in each time returned to room • Toiletries not provided: Lotion, conditioner • Bed very hard • Small bathroom • Sink drained very slowly • Since hotel is in historic section, if you are driving, you have to go past a ‘Do Not Enter’ sign on the road to access parking. • Reserve and pay for parking in advance when you make your reservation NEEDS ACTION: • Check sink drainage • Provide guidance on how to access parking prior to guest arrival
