We arrived in the morning and the room was not ready yet. We were allowed to leave our luggage in the storage room. The check in was smooth, the room is big, the staff are friendly and helpful. The only minus point was the air conditioning was not functioning well in the room and the temperature could not be controlled from the room. It’s summer so the room was quite stuffy. Overall was good.

Amazing stay at Market Street Hotel! The room was superbly located just opposite the Edinburgh train station. It is fully accessible via lifts, so you do not have to worry about lugging the luggage through any stairs. It is opposite the train station yet the rooms are soundproof and quiet. The room was clean and beautifully furbished. The concierge Miles was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is also conveniently-located near to the Royal Mile. I highly recommend this hotel to all travelers.

I think the hotel location is very good, almost touching the royal mile with just few meters away. This hotel is suitable for solo or business travelers as this is an express hotel. The room we got was very small in size 19m2 not suitable for family with a kid. There was no refrigerator in the room. Breakfast was very ordinary with very few options so, I will not suggest to take breakfast at this hotel, in fact people can scout on royal mile for a decent restaurant.
Overall, 1 or 2 days should be ok without much hassle but if you are planning to spend some more time then I will not suggest for this hotel. Staff was always helpful and they do the best to guide you for things.

We are so satisfied with Aparthotel! It is very clean and has everything we need. Especially when you want to stay in the same place for a few days and don't know where to eat, this hotel is equipped with basic cooking ware, rubbish and recycling bins and a dishwasher! Is is also located in between the train station and city centre. When you feel tired you can always go back for a rest before heading out for dinner.

Comfortable room good service and there is one sweet lady staff made my day. She is patience listening what I have been thru and gave me a complimentary breakfast. I would like to thank her but I forgot to look at her name tag, when I check out she was off duty. Not sure is she Kajo. Other staffs are friendly as well.

The hotel's location is fantastic, incredibly close to Old Town and historical landmarks.
Everything is within walking distance, so there's no need for public transportation, which is a big plus.
The cleanliness and amenities (like tea, coffee, and filtered water) were sufficient for a comfortable stay.
We appreciated how quickly they addressed our note about cleaning, resolving the issue promptly.
However, there's no on-site parking, which can add extra costs for those traveling by car.
Even with the discount voucher they provide, parking in the area remains expensive, as is typical in city centers.
A big thank you to the friendly and hospitable staff for their excellent service!

We stayed at Wilde just before New Year and we were not disappointed. The location is fantastic. Just behind the castle and around the corner from Grassmarket. The staff were fantastic, from the minute we arrived till the minute we checked out. Nothing is an issue to them. The apartment was both modern and well equipped. I would definitely return, but would get a room on the 1st floor. As the lower rooms you can hear people above moving furniture etc. Not the company's fault, just inconsiderate guests that you can't choose!

Awful hotel that is definitely not 4* and the service is not at Hilton level at all….
The hotel goes under the renovation and there were only 2 lifts with queues and they are also used by the staff too
We had a room for 3 people and had all set up for two people only, the room was dirty with hair in the shower and the ceiling.
When I took the shower the pipe was blocked and the water started to leak to the bathroom… yes they sorted the problem quite quickly but still was not great experience
There were no slippers and bathrobes. I asked for x3 slippers and they brought only one pair. I asked again and they brought only one pair again. On the third time they brought two pairs…. When I asked for 3!!! And still no bathrobes. We asked for additional blanket and it was in a random location after the room was cleaned.
The room was cleaned badly on the next day we stayed. My pajamas was thrown elsewhere and I found it on the table, the towels we put on the floor to be replaced were fold dirty on the shelves… the blanket was in a random location and the cleaner did not pay any attention at all left the room dirty. Very disrespectful
I felt that I had to beg for the things we are supposed to get in this kind of hotels. Shocking!!!
Yes they compensated with a complimentary breakfast which was good but still the service was bad. They sent the cleaner and by the time she came we were already sleeping. And she did not speak any English … very disappointed

The hotel is in a great location, at the intersection of Victoria Street. It is very convenient to go to famous attractions such as the castle, the National Museum, the National Gallery, Prince Street, and the Royal Mile.
The service is good. It was midnight when I arrived at the hotel on the first day. I woke up the next morning and found a trash can outside the room window. After all, I had to stay for four days, so I asked to change rooms. The front desk patiently showed me three rooms and said that he hoped I would be happy here. In the end, I changed from the 2nd floor to the 4th floor, and the view was also good. It's a pity that I didn't ask the name of the staff.
The room was good except for the low water pressure and small water flow in the washbasin.
There are few varieties of breakfast. Cold dishes and yogurt bread are self-service, and hot food is ordered. I tried the entire menu for four days, and the products are pretty good.

AAnonymous UserGoogle Maps brought us to wrong place. Be careful! Hotel is good location. Much bigger than what it looks from outside.
Parking is limited and requires extra payment. We could not parked onsite and was directed to park at another nearby APEX hotel.
We love the rubber ducky!

GGuest UserVery good, the service is very enthusiastic. When we arrived at the hotel at night, the handsome guy at the front desk upgraded our room. It is super large with a living room and two washbasins. The environment is also very clean and tidy. It is very close to Edinburgh Railway Station. You can see the entrance of the railway station when you come out of the back door of the hotel. If I have the opportunity to come to Edinburgh next time, I will still choose this hotel

LLiziyaochumenWe walked in with normal legs and feet, but the front desk staff arranged a disabled room without saying anything, and it was a connecting room. We went downstairs to ask for a change of room, and the front desk staff arrogantly said that all the double rooms in the hotel were disabled rooms, and insisted that I had booked a disabled room. We asked the front desk to bring the record in their system that showed that the disabled room was booked, but they refused to give it to us. In the end, we changed to a normal room (so it was not because the hotel had no rooms).
When checking out the next day, another front desk staff said that the hotel only had 4 disabled rooms in total, and it was impossible that all double rooms were disabled rooms. It turned out that the front desk staff lied the night before.
When the hotel had normal rooms, they changed the normal rooms booked by customers who did not need special support to disabled rooms without asking in advance, and they wanted to deceive customers. I couldn't believe that I was staying at Marriott.

SSuomijp2Super recommend!!! It was truly clean, modern, comfortable, convenient and everything was there that you will need. It was really amazing place to stay. I wish I could stay longer if I don’t have any plan after this. Bath amenities were also provided, kitchen had everything, washing and drying machines was good. If you open the drawer of mirror-desk, you can find the guide book.
This place is the best to stay in Edinburgh.

GGuest UserJust on the Royal Mile, the location is very good and convenient. It is also very close to the train station, but the train station is under construction. I almost died from exhaustion after carrying my luggage up four or five floors.
It's the time for international artists, and there are artists performing at the door. There are many people and it's very lively, but the soundproofing of the room is pretty good and it's not noisy at all. I booked two rooms, and the other room was in the corner and there was no signal at all!
During the peak summer season + international art festival, the room price is really expensive at 3000+. The room is a bit small for this price, but the hygiene is okay. But the breakfast is not delicious. It is recommended to just have a bite at the bakery next door.

GGuest UserThe location was great for sightseeing.
Although we had booked a twin room we actually had 4 beds. The room was clean & warm.
One lift wasn’t working but the other was quick & efficient.
The bar was good during the day but quite noisy at night & into the early hours.
We liked being able to use the luggage store.
I noticed there was a laundry which we didn’t need to use but I feel this is a good facility.

方方The hotel has no breakfast, the service is very warm, the family room, did not book a night, went to the front desk and said directly to us. I left the checked baggage in the middle and returned to the room directly when I came back.

GGuest UserLocation, price and service were all good. In particular, the postcards and chocolate bars handwritten by the CEO were impressive. If I go to Edinburgh next time, I definitely want to go back to this hotel. It was remodeled and the cleanliness was also very good. There is only one thing, the name has changed, but it is a bit regretful that I was lost in front of the old hotel name on Trip.com.
