The property features comfortable, spacious rooms with great A/C and beach views, a beautiful infinity pool, and exceptional cleanliness. However, it is criticized for being overpriced, especially regarding room rates and food quality. Staff are commended for their excellent service.

Really stylish hotel just outside El Cuco, with really gorgeous rooms overlooking the ocean, a beautiful infinity pool surrounded by palm trees, nice staff and a restaurant with great food and cheap cocktails. It's a short stroll to the town, shops, restaurants and the gigantic public beach which is really buzzing on the weekend, but you don't have to go that far. the hotel is right on its own beach, and, watching the tides, you can stroll or swim right in front of your room. After the hustle and bustle of Dia de Los Muertos in Mexico staying here for a few days was just heaven.

The hotel facilities themselves are quite nice. The rooms are comfortable and large. They arranged an airport shuttle for us without issue (though for some reason it was 30 USD more than what our friends paid at the hotel next door). The food at the restaurant is generally not memorable but adequate. The service can be hit or miss at the restaurant. For example they messed up my order and gave me an entirely wrong dish. I told them and they apologized but I said it was fine and would have it anyway. At the end of the meal the server offered to give me my original dish I ordered if I wanted (presumably free). I was still hungry so took them up on the offer only to find they charged me for both. It’s not a big deal but also not the sort of thing you expect at a “boutique hotel”. Also some confusion about what was included with our complimentary breakfast and what wasn’t. Seemed to be charges for things that we were told was included. It wasn’t consistent Overall it’s a good place to stay considering the other options though maybe a bit pricey for what you get . The views are incredible and it’s very clean and comfortable

Beautiful views and beach, however the resort is overprice. I stayed in the golden room nice size restroom but kind of tidy room. Request extra towels they were in such bad shape I didn't even used it, my doggie has better shape towels. Also the resort is in urgency of TLC, very small pool. Food so-so ceviche was the best, again food is bit overprice for the taste. However the employees are very helpful and attentive probably besides the view the only positive. Not invited to return for the price there is better places to stay in.

To many bugs there was a scorpion in the bathroom my 12 year old granddaughter saw it ran out the bathroom. There was trash between the beds . The people in the kitchen were rude specially one of the girls.

This is a quiet, secluded and secure place. The property only has 6 rooms. At night the entrance gate is closed and property patrolled by guards. The service provided by front desk and restaurant staff was excellent. Myself and wife stayed in the blue room upstairs. We had a spectacular view of the beach. I definitely recommend this place. Great job muchachos!

The staff was friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. Paid for the Honeymoon Suite that has the hot tub and the hot tub didn’t work. The employees at the restaurant were nice but it was like pulling teeth to find out what their breakfast special was. The employees at the restaurant need more training when it comes to charging credit cards.

We stayed at Vista Las Olas toward the end of our 10 day visit to El Salvador. After seeing several other accommodations throughout El Salvador I can say this is definitely one of the nicest in the country. The hotel itself is beautiful, set between the ocean and the beautiful jungle. We stayed in the room directly in front of the pool, we knew there would be less privacy this way (our curtains had to stay closed the whole time to not have our whole room exposed to all the guests) but that was fine as the room was very convenient for our two kids who swam a great majority of the time. The room had one small window with a screen, but everything else was just glass and had to be closed. Not a complaint but just something to note if you’re expecting to hear the waves crashing with your windows open at night, this won’t happen. A/C in the room worked great. Something to note, especially if you’re used to American hotels, this is El Salvador, this is the jungle, there are bugs. Bring bug repellent. If you’re looking for a hotel with N. American cleanliness and N. American standards, look in the US. The restaurant was around the corner from the rooms and up a set of stairs. While the prices are high for El Salvador, the service was excellent and so was the food. Everything we ordered was top notch. There are rocky stairs (wear shoes) to the side of the resort that lead down to the beach. When the tide is high you can still access a medium sized crescent beach at the bottom of the stairs. When the tide is low you can walk the whole length of the beach in front of the hotel all the way down to other hotels. The beach is public but not crowded at all. The town of El Cuco is about .5 mile walk from the hotel. We walked there a couple of times and had some icecream and some pupusas. El Cuco is a small fishing village, a mix of traditional El Salvador and touristy El Salvador. The hotel offered a service to have a driver drive us to San Miguel to take our covid tests we needed to re-enter the states. The driver was very professional and nice, the car was clean and safe. We also arranged to be driven to the airport on our departure day and again had a nice, clean, safe experience. Our whole experience was excellent, all of the staff we encountered was professional and very nice. We will definitely be visiting again.
