I heard that several new buildings have been constructed behind the hotel, making it even larger. LLuquanliuruThis is absolutely a hidden gem! I was driving from Jinan to Datong, planning a two-day trip, and decided to stop in Laiyuan for a rest. I never expected to find such a beautiful courtyard; I didn't want to go back inside while strolling around. The owners, a husband and wife, were incredibly welcoming and patient, and they had a whole yard full of flowers and plants, including a century-old peony. They even bought some local specialties for breakfast, which was delicious and very satisfying. In the evening, I watched the large-scale light show with iron flower fireworks and water jetpack performances at Laiyuan Lake, along with a band performance. I didn't feel tired even after playing until 10 pm. It was even more fun than a planned trip! I regret not taking more photos of the guesthouse; it was very clean. I would definitely come back again.

GGuest UserIt exceeded my expectations. This newly opened B&B has facilities comparable to a 4.5-star hotel with everything you need. Because it was the off-season, the owner upgraded us to a lake view room. The terrace faces Yishui Lake, and there is an infinity pool in summer. The view is great. The homestay has a billiard room, a table tennis room, a KTV, a naughty castle for children to play, etc., and a dopamine courtyard, which is perfect for a family weekend vacation. The boss was also very nice. We wanted to buy some mineral water but he gave us a lot instead. It was a very satisfying vacation. It was quiet, not crowded, and the stray cats around were quite friendly. It is a Feng Shui treasure land with simple folk customs. Summer will come again.

The location of the hotel is very conspicuous and easy to find. The service attitude at the front desk is very good, and the room attendants also help with washing and drying clothes. All facilities required in a guest room are available, and the area is relatively large and spacious. Takeaways can also be delivered directly to the room using a robot. The hot water shower and air conditioning are also very good, and the sound insulation effect is also good. It is recommended.

There was a young front desk clerk who was a little rude and used the pronunciation of people's names. I got more than one comfortable and pleasant stay experience, as well as fireworks on earth. GGuest UserThis stay truly exceeded all expectations. As foreigners visiting Citadines Baoding for the first time, the overall experience couldn’t have been better — it was absolutely top-notch 👍. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were greeted with a sense of warmth and genuine hospitality. The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful and attentive. The hotel also provides a complimentary fruit platter, which was a very nice and thoughtful touch. The room is well equipped with a capsule coffee machine, and there is even a washing machine inside the room, making the stay especially convenient for families and longer visits. Another major highlight is the room layout. In addition to the bedroom, there is a separate small living area. This design is a big plus — my husband can watch TV or work in the living space without disturbing my rest, which greatly enhances comfort and privacy. Overall, whether it was the attention to detail at the front desk, the comfort and quality of the accommodation, or the excellent food and beverage service, this hotel truly delivered on all fronts. It’s absolutely an ideal choice for business or families traveling with children, and we would highly recommend Citadines to anyone visiting Baoding.

Uuljjatxa121I stayed for two nights during the Qingming Festival, and the service was excellent. After booking, a butler contacted me to register my car plate number and other details. The hotel's location is fantastic, right next to a mall with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options. It's also just a few kilometers' drive from Xiong'an Xinma Forest Park. Let's talk about the facilities first: I went with my child, and there's a playground in B1. They even added an extra 'naughty castle' during the holiday, which my child absolutely loved. The children's play area is quite small, really only suitable for one to two-year-olds to play in briefly. The two building block tables had a limited number of toys, so I'd suggest adding more. There are also some electronic entertainment facilities that require tokens to play. There are two heated children's pools, but they are a bit small. I wouldn't recommend going if it's crowded, as it would be like 'dumplings in a pot.' Next, breakfast: if you go around 9 AM, you'll have to queue for about 15 minutes, but they opened two restaurants, so the efficiency was still decent. I only had breakfast at the Chinese restaurant. The variety wasn't extensive, and the taste was average, but it was sufficient. Finally, the rooms: we stayed on the 8th floor and booked two rooms. One of them still had a bit of a new renovation smell. After I mentioned it to the butler, they promptly brought an air purifier and even a fruit plate as an apology. Anyway, the service was quite reassuring. I'll definitely stay here again when the weather gets warmer.

As soon as I entered the lobby, I felt warm and comfortable, the decoration was simple and atmospheric, the environment was clean and tidy, the staff was warm and courteous, the check-in was fast and smooth, and there was no extra waiting throughout the process. The room is spacious, the lighting is sufficient, the bedding is soft and clean, the mattress is very comfortable, and the rest is particularly good at night. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, the toiletries are complete, and the details are very careful. The hotel's hygiene is in place, the corners are clean and comfortable, making people feel at ease. The location is excellent, the travel is convenient, and the surrounding dining and shopping are very convenient. The front desk service responds promptly, any needs can be solved quickly, and the service is intimate and professional. Whether it is the environment, health or service, it is far beyond expectations, the price is very high, it is highly recommended to stay, and I will choose here next time. GGuest UserThis hotel was exceptional - the room was very clean, modern, and bright. The breakfast was also very extensive in selection - I'm a vegetarian and I had no problem finding things to eat. What stood out the most, though, was the service. From the concierge and dining / room service staff, to the housekeeping team, everyone was incredibly sweet, smiled a lot and went out of their way to be helpful. It's the best service I've received in a hotel anywhere in the world. Thank you to Able and Mark, and all of the other staff whose names I didn't manage to catch!

GGuest UserEnvironment: Due to unexpected reasons, I chose to stay in Baoding for one night. Taopu Hotel was my wisest choice. The hotel is located in Baoding High-tech Zone, with a quiet surrounding environment, beautiful greenery, and a bright and transparent lobby. Service: The service is excellent. The front desk staff are friendly and always answer questions with a smile. Seeing that we came from afar, they also upgraded our room considerately, especially before we left the hotel, they also gave us a small gift-mineral water. In the hot summer, it is nothing more than the best arrangement. The hotel lobby also provides guests with alcohol wipes, dental floss, iodine sticks, masks, clips and other daily necessities. There are also various teas, snacks, and candies for guests to taste while sitting. Hygiene: The hygiene is very clean. Both the inside of the room and the surroundings of the hotel are very clean. Facilities: The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, which is very considerate. But in the hot weather, the lobby still insists on waiting until after May Day to turn on the air conditioner, which is really unsatisfactory. So many guests who have just checked out or are checking in are being scorched in the lobby. The hotel should adjust the air conditioning time according to the weather. Moreover, the hotel staff are even more tired. They also need to wear uniforms to provide warm service in a hot environment. I hope the hotel can improve and truly consider the guests and hotel staff.
