LLuquanliuruThis is absolutely a hidden gem! I was driving from Jinan to Datong, planning a two-day trip, and decided to stop in Laiyuan for a rest. I never expected to find such a beautiful courtyard; I didn't want to go back inside while strolling around. The owners, a husband and wife, were incredibly welcoming and patient, and they had a whole yard full of flowers and plants, including a century-old peony. They even bought some local specialties for breakfast, which was delicious and very satisfying. In the evening, I watched the large-scale light show with iron flower fireworks and water jetpack performances at Laiyuan Lake, along with a band performance. I didn't feel tired even after playing until 10 pm. It was even more fun than a planned trip! I regret not taking more photos of the guesthouse; it was very clean. I would definitely come back again.

The location of the hotel is very conspicuous and easy to find. The service attitude at the front desk is very good, and the room attendants also help with washing and drying clothes. All facilities required in a guest room are available, and the area is relatively large and spacious. Takeaways can also be delivered directly to the room using a robot. The hot water shower and air conditioning are also very good, and the sound insulation effect is also good. It is recommended.

From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were greeted with a sense of warmth and genuine hospitality. The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful and attentive. The hotel also provides a complimentary fruit platter, which was a very nice and thoughtful touch. The room is well equipped with a capsule coffee machine, and there is even a washing machine inside the room, making the stay especially convenient for families and longer visits. Another major highlight is the room layout. In addition to the bedroom, there is a separate small living area. This design is a big plus — my husband can watch TV or work in the living space without disturbing my rest, which greatly enhances comfort and privacy. Overall, whether it was the attention to detail at the front desk, the comfort and quality of the accommodation, or the excellent food and beverage service, this hotel truly delivered on all fronts. It’s absolutely an ideal choice for business or families traveling with children, and we would highly recommend Citadines to anyone visiting Baoding.

GGuest UserDuring the May Day holiday, my family went to Xiong'an for a trip. We arrived smoothly in 2 hours from Beijing. The check-in time was a bit long due to the full occupancy rate during the holiday, but the staff were fully cooperative and finally lived in the Little Prince theme suite that the children liked. Facilities: The room is spacious and bright, fully equipped with a small tent, electronic piano, dolls, and drawing boards. Even if you don't leave the hotel, the children can play for half a day. It is strongly recommended to bring children to stay in a parent-child theme room. Hygiene: Equipped with a full set of Little Prince toiletries and towels, the sheets and quilts are clean and tidy. Staying for two nights, the room cleaning on the second day was also very timely and in place, and the room was cleaned and tidy. Environment: The hotel is very convenient to the Eye of Xiong'an, the Convention and Exhibition Center, and Yuerong Park. The room has light and dark adjustment, which is very friendly for babies to take a nap. Service: Very satisfied! A few days before check-in, the hotel staff contacted in advance and informed us of very detailed travel strategies and precautions. Any problems during the stay were solved in time. When I met the hotel staff, they were all smiling, making the guests feel at home! Of course, there are also shortcomings. There are many guests in the hotel during the holidays, and the waiting time for check-in is a bit long, which is a bit difficult for babies who want to take a nap. However, because the suite comes with afternoon tea for two, we waited in the lobby bar to ease some of the pressure. The windows in the room need to be told to open by the staff. There is a bit of smell in the room, but opening the window for ventilation and adding an air purifier alleviates it a little. There is a queue during the peak period of the breakfast buffet. Another thing is that for electric car owners, there is no charging pile equipment in the hotel basement, which is not very convenient. Overall, it was a very satisfactory stay experience, and I would recommend friends who come to Xiong'an to choose Sofitel Hotel.

QQueenNatWooWe had a great time at the Holiday Inn Baoding. We arrived late in the evening. You know it’s a great trip when you have so much fun you forget to take photos. Checkin was a smooth process, there was a market store were you can get gifts, Lana is, drinks. Toiletries and etc. We received a free car wash that we used when we checked-out. It’s located on the property. The hot springs is located in another building that was a quick walk. This place is adult and kid friendly. Although you are in the middle of nowhere the city is just a quick drive. We did a little shopping at the shoe store. The room was comfortable and spacious. It’s great for families, our 13yr old son loved it.

The service was very serious and responsible. All kinds of supplies were prepared before check-in. Arrived at 8 o'clock that night, the lobby concierge Xiaotian took the initiative to help with the luggage, and patiently introduced the hotel facilities and surrounding conditions. The front desk presented freshly baked cookies and donkey mascots, which the children liked very much. The hotel room is clean and tidy, the north-facing room has a good view, the swimming pool water temperature is just right, the breakfast variety is comprehensive, and the most important thing is that the quality is very high, not at all makeshift, and it is definitely worth the price. The only two shortcomings are that the north-facing room is close to the road, so there will still be a little noise at night, but it does not affect rest, and the second is that the refrigerator in the room is broken. I contacted the front desk and quickly replaced it with a new one. The response was quick and worthy of praise. I will definitely choose Hilton next time I come to Baoding.

The hotel is located in Baoding High-tech Zone, with a quiet surrounding environment, beautiful greenery, and a bright and transparent lobby. Service: The service is excellent. The front desk staff are friendly and always answer questions with a smile. Seeing that we came from afar, they also upgraded our room considerately, especially before we left the hotel, they also gave us a small gift-mineral water. In the hot summer, it is nothing more than the best arrangement. The hotel lobby also provides guests with alcohol wipes, dental floss, iodine sticks, masks, clips and other daily necessities. There are also various teas, snacks, and candies for guests to taste while sitting. Hygiene: The hygiene is very clean. Both the inside of the room and the surroundings of the hotel are very clean. Facilities: The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, which is very considerate. But in the hot weather, the lobby still insists on waiting until after May Day to turn on the air conditioner, which is really unsatisfactory. So many guests who have just checked out or are checking in are being scorched in the lobby. The hotel should adjust the air conditioning time according to the weather. Moreover, the hotel staff are even more tired. They also need to wear uniforms to provide warm service in a hot environment. I hope the hotel can improve and truly consider the guests and hotel staff.
