I specifically booked the Sofitel Xiong'an this time, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. Since I was traveling with a child, I booked the 'Octonauts' themed room. The room was decorated with a playful, warm, and cute design, and my little one had an absolute blast. The room was clean and tidy, and most importantly, safety was a top priority with no sharp corners, so I didn't have to worry about bumps or scrapes. The bathroom was equipped with a step stool for the sink and a child's toilet seat – truly the ultimate for traveling with kids! The hotel's public areas were also clean and tidy, especially the swimming pool area on the 4th floor, which featured a constant-temperature children's pool with excellent water quality and no pungent chemical filter smell. We felt very safe and played for a long time. The restaurant was also very convenient, with a wide variety of breakfast options that tasted great. Furthermore, the hotel staff were attentive and thoughtful, proactively asking about our needs and being patient and meticulous. The service was very satisfying. One minor point: you might want to bring light clothing indoors as the room temperature was a bit high, and the windows seemed to be sealed. It would have been perfect if there was ventilation.

Our May Day trip with the little one was made so much better by Cheney from guest relations, who proactively added us on WeChat and provided excellent, thoughtful service. The hotel's facilities and environment are truly superb. We arrived at noon and didn't even leave the property. After my child woke up, we strolled around the grounds in the afternoon, then played for a bit at the Swan Castle Kids' Club. Dinner was at the buffet restaurant. Since this was our second time bringing the kids to Xiong'an, we knew that dining options can be limited and often involve long waits, so eating directly at the hotel was incredibly convenient this time. There are a couple of areas that could be improved, though: Firstly, the park doesn't separate pedestrians and vehicles, which is something to watch out for if you have young children, as cars generally drive quite fast. Secondly, the breakfast restaurant was set up in a large ballroom, which wasn't a great experience. I'm not sure if this was a temporary arrangement due to the high volume of guests during May Day, but it felt a bit out of place, almost like a company conference.

The hotel is in a good location, close to Xiongan Country Park, which is convenient for taking children. It is also very close to Baiyangdian Scenic Area, and convenient to outlets, Xiongan Eye and Banyan Tree Park. The room is clean and hygienic, and the breakfast is rich, but the sound insulation is average.

The overall facilities are acceptable, with complete accommodation, sauna, dining, and leisure and entertainment facilities. Responsible for picking up and dropping off at Baiyangdian Station, making it convenient to travel by train. The disadvantage is that the hotel is in a remote location and there are no shopping, entertainment or other places nearby. What I don’t understand is that the two bottles of water in the room are not enough. I asked the front desk for two more bottles and they were charged 4 yuan. This was the price I stayed in for half a month of this trip. The first of 8 or 9 hotels I’ve stayed in, rare!

There is no price increase during the Qingming Festival. The room is large and the service is good. It is really very good. The location is very convenient for boating in Baiyangdian. The hotel has a swimming pool. There are not many hot spring pools, but the price is cheap and enough. The key is that there are not many people and parking is convenient. I gave my child breakfast, which was not bad.

帶着家裡人想着年前泡個温泉，比前兩年人少多了，公共温泉池有一部分沒開，房間現在似乎也不是温泉水了，要是像之前那樣房間可以泡私湯更好！早餐還可以，但是偏素！正餐建議吃鐵板燒自助，或者小火鍋自助，不要點中餐吃，種類少，還特別慢，等四十分鐘才上！服務態度特別好！

五一入住淶源，性價比還是很高的，附近吃飯也方便，房間較小，床品乾淨，衞生間設施比較一般，建議自備拖鞋和毛巾，前台很熱情，酒店臨街但客房面向後院很安靜，樓下是洗浴，後院有酒店專用停車場。
