Sign said for one grill it was open 24 hours on Friday Saturday it was not. Service from rude cashier was not helpful. Out of cookies. Bed was uncomfortable.

Everyone at the property were very nice and accommodating. I genuinely have nothing bad to say about the resort! My husband and I had a wonderful time.

Winter is a good time to visit if you just want a relaxing few days. Be aware, the bar restaurant with cheaper prices is closed. The open restaurant is quite expensive. The only available activity is ********. Be aware That the bill contains taxes, park fees and resort fees added to the bill.

****** resort is okay. I paid extra for a room on a child free floor where there clearly were children staying. I had a ladybug infestation in my room that was brushed off. Food offerings were average. Nice pool and spa. Gorgeous views. May be better in summer. Charged an extra $25 a day resort fee for what im not sure

Room was ok. Not very clean. Also pool didn’t look clean or being maintained properly. View is amazing though if you get a lake view. They also charge for you to have a microwave in the room $20/night which is ridiculous. Overall ok experience, but I have been here before and the resort is not the same, wish they took care of it more given its amazing location.

What I didn't like was the unfortunate incident of the early morning (2 a.m.) desk clerk's response to my request for a wake-up call. His reply was, "We do not do wake-up calls. That's why we put an alarm clock in your. room." As I travel extensively, I have experienced that every hotel has alarm clocks in guest rooms and also provide wake-up call service. Also, at this particular hotel, a wake-up call button was on the keypad of the telephone.
This was only my second visit to Rocky Gap Resort and my overall experience has been wonderful.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights. We came in by Amtrak on Friday and lft Sunday however we found out there is no transporation on Sunday. We called the front desk to ask if they knew of any way to get us back to Amtrak. Candi who works the front desk tried to find us trasportation however none was available. Candi after completeing her shift waited for us in the hotel lobby to let us know she would be taking us to Amtrak. We look forward to returning however we will pick another day other Sunday to check-out. A huge THANK YOU to Candi. You saved the day.

Our room was very clean and quiet. I was a bit surprised at the additional fees tacked on when I showed up. Over $30. Might have made a different choice if I knew about them beforehand. We went offsite to dine but there are several options within about ten minutes.
