Premier Inn Lichfield North East (A38)

We stayed at the Lichfield North East Premier Inn for a couple of nights over Easter to visit the Arboretum nearby. The staff were excellent, very friendly and chatty and the rooms were fine, although the TV in our room was not a smart TV, so we could not plug in our Fire stick, unfortunately. The general communal areas of the hotel are a bit worn out, including the doors to the rooms which are most odd. Sadly the surroundings are not very great, a derelict pub and potholed roads on both sides of the entrance junction. Definitely worth eating before checking in - there are plenty of good restaurants in Lichfield a few minutes drive away, and buying some food for breakfast, again, Tesco in Lichfield is only a short drive away. Very convenient for the National Memorial Arboretum though, although be careful about the potholes if you drive there following the road to the left over the railway level crossing as there were a couple of huge ones down that road when we went that way.

This premier inn is looking pretty tired & needs an overhaul! It’s v noisy on the ground floor - despite all the notices asking guests to be considerate it sounds like a herd of elephants on the stairs and in the 1st floor rooms. The room was spotless clean ( well done ladies! ), and as usual the reception staff were terrific, especially the lady who helped me sort out my faulty mobile phone! The best things about prems are the staff!!

Our visit was great value for money! Jean & Clare gave us a really warm welcome and drinks for us & activities for our girls were provided in our room on arrival! We’ve never experienced this level of service at a Premier Inn before so after a long drive this was really welcomed! Thanks Jean & Clare!

We had a lovely three night stay in the Premier Inn Lichfield North. Claire and Sarah both went above and beyond by making our stay comfortable as possible. The chocolates, sweets and kids colouring in packs were a lovely finishing touch. Would definitely recommend.

A lovely clean and comfortable room. Great, warm shower and a friendly welcome from the staff, Claire and Sarah. Just what we needed for our orienteering weekend! Lovely that they are collecting for GOSH at the front desk too for breakfast!

Very lovely and spacious rooms! Pillows were very comfortable and beds were lovely and warm. We made excellent use of the kettle in the room which was very handy and we were even able to purchase breakfast from reception. Clare and Sarah did an excellent job on making the room look clean, tidy and welcoming before our arrival.

Great stay. Staff were super professional, helpful and friendly. Shout out for receptionists Clare and Nicola, but all the staff we met couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Room we had was lovely and clean. It’s an older Premier Inn so the outside is a little bit ‘tired’ but don’t let that put you off. Fradley is nearby and very handy for takeaways and groceries.

Great little place to stay. Such a friendly welcoming reception by staff. Lots of practical help and advice given. Couldn’t fault the great attention to aid our comfort by Clare, Sarah &Nicola . Thank you all for going out of your way to make our stay great.

Very very poor hotel. Was sold a dream looking at the pictures turned up restaurant was derelict no TV in room poor staff and house keeping no vending machines to purchase drinks or food was overall poor
