The hotel was located near Shoji lake not Kawaguchiko lake so you have to take the bus from the main station.
Overall is okay for our stay. It’s quiet and traditional style.
Food is superb.

After a few days of special forces-style Tokyo tour, the family chartered a car to Yamadaya. We did some research before booking. We knew that the transportation here was inconvenient, but we didn't expect it to be so inconvenient... So we gave up several planned attractions and just lay down in the cabin, sitting in the room and watching the rippling lake and the white snow wrapped around Mount Fuji. The beautiful scenery was in full view. At noon, we were hungry and went to the only small restaurant nearby to have a meal. The feeling of taking things as they come made us relax during the tiring journey 😌 Playing snowballs, making snowmen, and watching the snow-capped mountains... Then soaking in a hot spring ♨️ was simply too comfortable.
