I highly recommend staying at this hotel to everyone. We stayed for 3 nights and were well taken care of. The interior, kitchen, staff and wellness are of the highest quality. In particular, I want to highlight the approach of Resident Manager Mr. Thomas Glawogger. His approach to guests and problem solving is second to none and I would like to say a big thank you to him. Excellent hotel ! I just repeat everything in the last review from feb 2023 - spot on ! We have just got back from a week there with our 2 adult children and we all had a fabulous time. My husband and I particularly enjoyed the spa - especially the Finnish spa sessions with Kitty the Spa Master - she is lovely - if u like a sauna experience - I highly recommend attending Kitty’s sessions and 5 and 6 pm each day (except Weds) . We will be back

My Partner and I stayed at Enzian Hotel for 8 nights in early February. We chose Enzian because of its location on the mountain and the 3/4 board food option sounded amazing. We expected the hotel to be of a high Standard but It exceeded our expectations. I don’t usually spend time writing reviews but if you are like us travelling from Australia without any knowledge of the area I hope this helps. I would like to start by mentioning our favourite part of the hotel was the Staff. Every member we encountered on our stay met us with a smile and every question or task was always answered with such a positive attitude. Dora and Rebecca at Reception seemed to be there every morning I had a request and are so helpful! We loved our afternoon cocktails and conversations over the bar with the bar staff (Bence, Martin and David) By the way some of the most delicious cocktails ever! Our wonderful waiter, Ivan who suggested fantastic wines every evening and who’s personality made you feel like you were his favourite customer although I imagine everyone who had the pleasure of meeting Ivan would say the same. We would also like to thank the chefs for the delicious menu they create every single day and the cleaners and maintenance staff for keeping the hotel and rooms in such good shape. The location of the hotel half way up the mountain gives you the option of cutting an early line all the way into town from the door of the hotel. A simple 2 minute ride down the slope or 100m walk up the hill to another gondola. The Hochsölden area seemed to be protected from the wind but also benefitted from exposure the the sun making the outdoor seats on the terrace bar or the amenities such as the outdoor infinity pool fantastic options after a day of Snowboarding or Skiing. Both of which we used almost Everyday. As previously mention the food out performs any of the local restaurants. It is quite easy and also a great option to make the most of the 3/4 board options. If you don’t roll into bed with a hand on your stomach and a big grin on your face every night then you are doing something wrong. I cannot recommend The Enzian Hotel in Hochsölden Enough, we cannot wait to come back. Thank you!

I was not sure about this hotel at first, we had just stayed 4 nights in a typical, olde worlde ski hotel and the Enzian was totally the opposite to that, a very contemporary feel which at first felt a bit unwelcoming. Once you got over this you realised that it was not the case at all. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, giving a very polished and professional service and really go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. A special thank you to our lovely waiter Gabor who looked after us both at breakfast and evening meal and always in time to top up our wine glass and to Bence, one of the bar staff, who quickly got to know what our favourite evening tipple was! We had a lovely large room (316) which was very modern but maybe a little stark, very clean with a comfortable bed although we did request an extra topper pad due to our bad backs and extra pillows which were promptly sorted for us. They had coffee making in the room which was a nice touch. The food in the restaurant was amazing with quality ingredients, especially the starter and main course each evening, you ate a fabulous meal the first night and the second night was even better and the third and the fourth! Each meal surpassed the last when you thought it could not be possible, the best food we have ever eaten in a hotel, restaurant or cruise ship for a long time and consistently good. They really need to keep hold of this amazing chef. My only one gripe was that they offered all this wonderful food, an amazing huge gratis buffet between 3-5 which was not just the usual cakes but consisted of a different soup each day, a hot meal, lots of salads, nibbles, breads, cakes etc, and yet each evening we were charged €3 for a carafe of tap water! Also at breakfast lots of bottles of juices, freshly squeezed orange juice and unlike other hotels, no water still or sparkling on the buffet, that is the only thing I would change, everything else was faultless. The wellness area was lovely, 2 areas, one clothing (textile) and one nude (non textile), both with swimming pools, saunas etc. The pool in the nude area was a large outside, infinity pool with jacuzzi style seating in one section, a beautiful view of the mountains and overlooking one of the ski runs, the area was open from 1pm. They also had a couple of sauna programmes which I have never experienced before, each day at 5pm and 6pm for 10 minutes, run by a lovely young girl called Kitty. Each programme was different with different infusions used, all to music and one session (which at first sounded rather strange…to a Brit) was where she mixed yogurt and course sea salt together which was then handed out to us to rub over our skin and to use as an exfoliant, it was amazing, your skin felt so wonderfully soft and silky afterwards. The only bad thing was that unfortunately Kitty has to have a day off in the week and we really missed her on that day! She was amazing, very passionate and enthusiastic about w

This is an amazing hotel, nothing was too much trouble and they had thought of everything. The website photos are very accurate, the indoor and outdoor pool and spa were superb. The food was plentiful, varied and delicious with lots of choice. The staff were very friendly and even baked my daughter a birthday cake for her birthday. This is the best ski hotel I have stayed at and 100% recommend staying here. In terms of location, it is on a red ski run with a lift station within walking distance (5 minutes) or you can ski down from the hotel to the bottom of the gondola in a few minutes. This lift takes you to the main ski area of Solden where you can access the entire ski area. A huge thank you to all the staff at the hotel for making it such a wonderful stay.

500 € the room per night but they charge the tap water jug 3€ at diner and lunch ! Fortunately, they still don't charge when you flush the toilets with basically the same water from the same pipe. Have you ever seen such a greedy management anywhere else ?

We stayed for 3 nights and were very pleased. The service was very good overall, the check-in was smooth, the (superb) ski-rental is right across the street. The facilities are well kept and the food was nice - pretty much comparable with many of the 5-star resorts in the Austrian alps actually, but without some of the fuss. (The salad and cheese buffet was even better and with more variety than in some “high profile” hotels). The gym fulfills all basic needs for a few days of stay and the wellness area offers multiple saunas and is perfectly located with views of the slope and mountains. The ski-in-ski-out part is a bit of a challenge if the snow is scarce but nevertheless it worked fine. The room designs are on the more simple side but fulfills all the needs (the red carpet seems a bit outdated though). The bathrooms are up to date, our room had an infrared sauna. All in all a very good stay!

Perfect ski-in/ski-out hotel in Hochsölden. Family vacation with 2 children (9y and 6y) in the Junior Suite Relax. Ideal location in the ski area. Great spa area for the family and separate area for adults with an outdoor pool with a view of the ski area. Breakfast, afternoon snack and dinner leave nothing to be desired!

After we received an offer for a spontaneous vacation (via email), we confirmed the offer in writing after about 2 hours. Afterwards our vacation was fixed. In the evening we received an email saying that there was no more space available. We were more than surprised, the only response we got was a succinct one: we could do things differently at some point, there were a lot of inquiries. All understandable but after 2 hours the offer is revoked? I don't know such business behavior, at least from reputable hotels. In the best case scenario, you make a quick phone call and ask questions, but yes - staff were also cut back in order to save costs. A hotel that only focuses on profit can only receive one point. In the short term this may provide much-needed liquidity, but in the long term it will certainly result in a loss of customers.
