The Jack London Lodge was a perfect spot for a wine tasting trip. Small town charm and walkable to several wonderful restaurants and morning coffee. The Saloon is next door, full of Jack London memorabilia and an amazing back terrasse next to the river.
The hotel had wonderfully comfortable beds and we especially loved the outdoor jacuzzi tub!

Very comfortable and in a great location. You get exactly what you'd want from this somewhat updated motel. The rooms are small and not luxurious, but the beds are super comfortable, there are a couple of USB charging ports on the clock, free wifi, and a small fridge. It's an easy walk to the excellent Village Market, Les Pascals bakery, and Michelin restaurant Glen Ellen Star.

We have stayed here a few times always quiet, clean and very relaxing.
Hot tub and pool grounds are beautiful by the creek.

Quaint and walkable to several eateries. Heater in the room would not work properly resulting in a couple of really cold nights...not good...and not really fixed. Coffe pot didn't work. This is too easy to fix. A new Mr. Coffee is cheap and would have solved the problem. The fact that the staff didn't do this says all you need to know.

This historic lodge is in the heart of Glen Ellen. I enjoy the quick get a way from the hustle and bustle from the bay area. Close enough drive for a vacation and conveniently located near the Jack London Park. It’s “hop skip and jump” to Benzinger winery, the grocery store and French pastry shop. I’m not a bar [at Ron but the Jack London parlor looks fun great restaurant outside patio, . Close trip to Sonoma Plaza when you take Petaluma Blvd heading eastward . The lodge is nestled next to the creek where the hot tub is located and there’s plenty of seating near the pool. The hot tub underwent recent face lift and it’s relaxing after a long day, The room is quaint with vintage furniture or you can choose the upgraded rooms that have new tubs and larger tv. The grocery store has a hot bar. If you’re seeking a relaxing weekend in the character of glen Ellen you cannot go wrong staying here at the lodge. Wi-Fi I the rooms and mini fridge. Plenty warm if you need it.

The room was clean and staffing seem to do a good job, however, the hotel is in need of maintenance and upgrades. The lock on the door was still a key and the deadbolt could not be locked from the outside when we left. Someone could have easily broken in. In fact, someone tried to get into our room around 3 AM on Saturday. Startling in the middle of the night. They left and we assumed they must have been at the wrong room. The caulking in the bathroom was badly cracked around the shower and the door and molding needs repair from water damage. The room did not look like the pictures on the website. We left a day early to find a different place. The French pastry and cafe across the street was excellent as was the hotel saloon and food market. The location was nice and easily accessible to wineries.
