Premier Inn Gravesend (A2/Singlewell)

For a basic stay this place is great. It has all what you only need from a hotel like three tea and coffee extras items bed which is comfy and clean sheets and room. Yes, the rooms look old and tired but they are cleaned to a good high degree with how they can do it. If you’re one of these people that expects the Ritz then you are best booking somewhere else but apart from that if you are open to different style and don’t have your head in the clouds and this is an ideal great place to stay. The place is right next to the A2 so easy to access and also not far to drive into the town. Also, they have a free Taxi phone where you can order a taxi to collect you to take you anywhere you wish. The food and drink the oven amazing pub next door which is separate but is still worth a go for food. They also do breakfast in the morning and you don’t need to be just a hotel resident.

basic hotel but beds were so comfy, place was clean and staff friendly. Great pub in the car park too. Will stay again next time we have to visit the area. Couldn't fault our stay, just wish we could stay longer. Parking is free unlike most premier inns so that's a bonus too

The staff were really helpful & friendly on check in, I had a problem with my TV but it was fixed straight away. I knew the room was going to be basic but it really needed to be redecorated, there were scuff marks up the walls & the carpet looked like it had seen better days. The bathroom was functional but again really needed modernising as it looked shabby, it was clean but as it was shabby it looked grubby as everything was worn & old, however, the shower was great, good pressure.

This is the second time I have stayed here and I should have remembered the problems we had last time. WiFi wasn't working and, although they said it was Virgin who had the problem, I'm sure we had the same problem last time my husband and I stayed here. Phone reception for data was also hit and miss. The TV only worked on BBC1 & 2 although this was later resolved. The room was cold and I went to bed with socks on despite having the heating on. I felt the room was tired and a bit scruffy and the bed too soft for comfort. I think it's time for a refurbishment. Despite these issues, the reception staff were very nice and helpful.

reception area still covered with plastic screens makes the place feel uninviting. Rest of hotel OK although it does not have the usual restaurant so we had to go elsewhere for breaakfast. Why oh why are these ridiculous plastic screens still in place when other hpotels ditched them ages ago. They serve no purpose other than to remind us of the biggest con in history.

Premier Inn Gravesend (A2/Singlewell) Hotel Singlewell itching and scratching all night from the bedsheets, hardly slept at all 922577812 what a horrible night. I was itching all night at Premier Inn Gravesend A2 Singlewell. kept turning over and waking up scratching my arms and legs. Itching was from the bed-sheet as had irritating skin lying on it. I claimed on Premier Inn Sleep Guarantee but was declined! Lady at hotel reception said I could make a claim for the issue i assume was from sheets and duvet cover. she gave me a reference number to contact customer services. it was strange though - the claim was disallowed even though i raised it the day after the stay - but the Guarantee says you have to file the claim within 7 days. But I did - so the Premier Inn Sleep Guarantee was not valid - for me. hotel cust serv says i didnt claim quick enough about it? i read about premier inn on the news today at the hastings hotel - had the same issues! A disappointing and unfair experience.

Ive stayed her many times. Premier Inn lives up to its name. This place is cosy, quite and comfortable. Had the best sleep ever. Unlike the Travel lodge nearby there are no illegals residing here. Glad its not a homeless shelter either unlike some hotels in the area. Also no stink of **** either. Staff are kind. Extra tea and coffee if needed. Will come again. Thankyou Premier Inn Singlewell.

Very clean, large room, comfortable bed. No complaints, would recommend this hotel for a overnight stay. Hair dryer provided in room. Fan in room. Tea coffee sugar cups and glass also kettle! Hand wash and shower gel provided.

The Rooms are tired and in need of decoration especially the bathrooms, the rooms are really hot 26oc with only a fan no air con...and we had to have the window open due to the heat and the noise from the A2 kept us a wake all night even though it was a sunday night, no breakfast facilities were offered and the George is no longer linked next door glad it was only one night stop over.
