We unfortunately needed a hotel room this past weekend in the area. There were a lot of events in the area so all hotels were booked. So for what we paid - it is not what I would expect to pay for a hotel of this quality. It was way too high. A few issues: - * They clearly had not cleaned the refrigerator or microwave in the room. There was food left in the microwave and the refrigerator freezer needs some work. That was upsetting. * room key cards ALWAYS deactivated. Even when we were careful not to have them near our credit cards or phone....still did not work after a day out. Got scolded by one of the desk clerks when I pointed out -we travel a lot. We know how to protect room cards and we have NEVER had this much trouble with deactivation. * Violation in the room with a outlet without an outlet cover. Pretty sure that is not allowed by code. *Quality of cleaning the walkways and hallways was pretty meager. IF we have to travel to this area again on last minute - we will try our best NOT to return to this location. For what we paid for Saturday night, SO NOT WORTH the cost. Highly encourage you to look elsewhere.

Issue #1: There was no hot water the first morning that I was there. As I rode the elevator to the breakfast bar, others voiced the same complaint. The comment from the front desk was ”a lot of people take showers at the same time in the morning so that's why the hot water ran out”. Which the response from us on the elevator was ”isn't that what happens in hotels? We need to get our shower to get ready for our day ahead?” I had to contact a friend in the Green Bay area and ask if I could come to her house to use her shower. The second morning, I waited until later to use the shower, but it was a barely warm shower and the water turned cold within a few minutes. Issue 2. The beds in my room were so bad that I could see springs poking out of them. They were like craters! I was traveling with a senior citizen who has some back issues. She was unable to stay with me room because the bed mattresses were not only very uncomfortable, but even unsafe. I ended up using the coach in the living area of the suit to sleep on. Issue 3: Noise level. The acoustics are poor in this hotel. It was a full house every night but everyone was well behaved. There was no big loud group of any kind there to party for some sports event. But ordinary conversations could be clearly heard intelligibly from my room. even being as far away from the door as possible. There is a good inch gap from the bottom of the door to the flooring which could be one reason. But I could also hear people talking at normal conversational level in the room next door. If this is where you staying during a Packers game weekend, be prepared to hear lots of noise. I am a 25 year Marriott loyalty customer. This is the only Marriott property that has not met Marriott's standards in my 25 years of staying on Marriott properties. While I found the housekeeping service and breakfast attendant extremely pleasant, competent, welcoming, and helpful, the front desk seemed to be unempathetic of their hotel in need of much updating and proper maintenance. It does appear that work is being done as they were recarpetting the stairwells, so perhaps this is part of the updating process. However, no one should pay $168/night to stay in a hotel that does not have hot water, and beds that are unfit to sleep. To the point that I had to leave the hotel to get a hot shower and the other person in my party was unable to stay with me.

Unable to find lodging in Door County and opted to stayed in Green Bay. Lovely hotel located riverside. I was thrilled to find the breakfast area exceptionally clean and tidy each morning. Coffee was hot and fresh. The gent who was preparing breakfast was very nice and new the area to easily answer questions. Ample front door available parking at all hours. Wonderful pizza enjoyed from the Glass Nickel (double check spelling). Fast delivery, hot/fresh. Great stay, can't wait to return.

When I checked in the staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Would definitely stay there again. The rooms were plenty big and facilities were very clean. All the staff were so helpful and pleasant. The room and other areas had hygienic cleansing materials readily available.
Delta Hotels Green Bay

We planned a night away in Green Bay to watch a Gamblers hockey game for my son’s 10th birthday celebration with another family. Friends had recommended the Delta as an alternative to a popular (and crowded) waterpark hotel in Green Bay. What a fantastic option! I reserved a suite directly through the hotel’s website, as we planned to return to the room after the game for cake and celebration. Prior to my stay, I received an email from the Guest Services Melissa M which welcomed us and asked if we were coming for any occasion. When we walked in the room, we were not only impressed by how great the room was — we were surprised to see hockey birthday decorations along with treats and handwritten notes from Melissa! This was so thoughtful, so wonderful and beyond any expectation we had for our stay! Our friends were across the hall and also were excited to find treats and a note in their room as well. The lobby of the hotel is warm and welcoming, with a fireplace and modern furnishings. There is a very stylish spot bar/restaurant off of the lobby. We ordered drinks there but didn’t have dinner (due to going to the game). There is a Starbucks counter that has a couple of limited breakfast options as well. But, no traditional breakfast option at this hotel (there are options nearby though). The pool is a huge draw at this hotel! It has a big waterslide as well as two large pools, a kiddie pool with fountains, and a hot tub. The pool area is beautiful and large, with high ceilings, and lots of chairs and tables to spread out. The kids REALLY enjoyed the slide and pool, and even convinced the adults to give it a try too. Plenty of nice beach towels available at the pool. The rooms at the Delta are amazing. We had a suite, with a very comfortable king bed in one room, and another room kitchenette (with sink, fridge, and microwave, as well as a counter that seats three) and living room area. The pullout couch in the living room was very comfortable (no springs!). The bathroom is very nice and had an awesome Kohler showered with removable handheld — perfect for helping kids wash the chlorine out of their hair! (Parents of littles, be aware that there is not a tub—just a shower.). I really appreciated the hooks by the door of the room (key for all the Wisconsin winter coats) and the Keurig coffee maker in its own little nook. There was an additional fridge and free bottled water in the bedroom and of course two TVs— one in each room. Lots of outlets and USB plugs available all over the suite, as well as modern artwork and decor. I highly recommend the Delta for any trips to Green Bay—we will definitely return!
