The location is really good, plenty of food and drink options in walking distance. I liked the area! But the hostel could be definitely cleaner, especially the common space. The private room was ok-ish, but in the garden area and common space impossible to stay, full of cat food and smelly old stuff. Breakfast is a joke but didn’t expect much. There is a very nice breakfast place nearby!

Didi goes to the city center for only $50 mxn The room has to go up stairs. There are sometimes insects. The bedside lamp is broken. The sheets are full of lint. The restroom is clean The front desk was kind enough to lend me a hairdryer and offered to introduce me to free local tours. And two cute cats

Lots of people to meet. Most were very friendly. Lots of sharing. Mellow place! Good music. Staff could be more attentive. Appear to be "wrapped up in themselves." what about the paying customers. My water did not work on 2 different occasions.

Location is very good. Also the staff was nice. There is a beautiful garden that is good to chill. The place is dirty. Not enough bathroom for the quantity of beds. For me, it seems that no one care about the hostel, maybe too many people with few resposabilities. Also the staff made a lot of noise on the bedroom (the ones who are living there), like they were at their own houses. There is no "travel people mood", it seems a place with no owner. I would never come back.

Clean, Neat. Well-run. And just a block from Chapultepec, a great street to walk up and down, especially when there are vendors occupying the central median or when you are hungry or thirsty! if you are here as a domestic or foreign tourist. Both the front patio and the back yard have adequate seating suitable for dining, working online or simple conversation. There is a small indoor living room area, too, equipped with guitars, board games and comfy sofas. I didn’t venture to the roof,g staying within earshot of reception, but I understand that that the area on the roof is a good place to work online, too. :) By the way, of the 2 parties that I heard checking out on Tuesday, the comments were overwhelminingly enthusiastic and complimentary regarding their stay at Hospedarted. I discovered this place when the nearby hostel where I was staying had no internet service for nearly 2 and a half days without announcement, without explanation. Within the first few hours I had my work-around to what was, in my mind, a ridiculous situation. Hospedarte. Wow! What a breath of fresh air. Next door there is a ramen restaurant calle Efraina. I have to check that out soon. For two days, I worked at Hospedarte hassle free. In fact, I may have picked up 2 new clients and definitely at least one new friend. From my vantage point I felt as if I were in the midst of a well-oiled machine that was efficient and accommodating as a matter of course. What a godsend! More expensive maybe, but it is so worth it from the professional management team to an owner who is present on an almost daily basis, to lovely and well maintained outdoor spaces. The staff that mans the front desk is bilingual English and Spanish, so if you come here with English only you will not have to engage in makeshift sign language or be confronted with mere smiles and nods and monosyllabic responses. Hospedarte. Clever. Lovely murals and a wall completely covered with a blown up map of the city blocks that surround the YOU ARE HERE marker. :). Don’t fear the front desk is knowledgeable, helpful and will pull up a map on their desktop at a drop of a hat to let you know where the pharmacies are in the area or whatever else you need. At this moment moment there is internet service at the hostel where I pre-paid for several weeks. However I am seriously considering doing much of my online work at Hospedarte! In addition to renting overnight accommodations, if you don’t need a place to stay, but you want to use the facilities—showers, wifi, participate in activities organized by the hostel for guests, etc-- you can do so for a mere 150 pesos per day. If you need to get online, this is waay more comfortable than Starbucks and definitely more practical than staying at a hostel that has—out of the blue—no internet. Pardon any typos. I hope my heartfelt endorsement was a helpful review!

When I arrived at check-in I told the guy that the sink wasn't working, I assumed that since it had a leak they had the faucet turned off, but I couldn't see and I insisted that he could check and it took him a while to go check, until I told him that Please check because I was going to leave, he said he was busy, but well, I'm also a client. I know that it is not a high-star hotel, but it bothered me that little ants got into my suitcase and I asked them for a raid and they told me they didn't have any and they didn't do anything to help me, the net if I worked there I would do something, I go and I bought one, but it didn't look bad on the client. As I felt anxious that my clothes had ants on them, I told them that they would give me even if it was sanitized, but I was afraid that my clothes would be ruined with it. Also on the floor there were a lot of cat hairs from the kitten they have there, it seems that they did not clean or that dirt gets in through a door they have, they should put something so that it is covered and the cat hairs or ants do not get in. And also on the bed some mini animals looked like spiders. The rest is fine, I liked that the TV is smart with YouTube, but I am upset that as a customer the problem of the ants that I explained to them was worth it, I forgot to take a photo of that because I killed them, and the same goes for the pants that were I was covered in cat hair, I had already shaken it, but if you consider that, I didn't put my suitcase on the desk so as not to mistreat it, but until later I told myself that they don't put protectors on the doors.
