We arrived late at night and was surprised the room was located in another building, the entrance was a housed with other restaurants and the lift opened up to a back staircase with construction materials and broken bits which was a little unsettling especially for a pair of young girls in the middle of the night (we were led in by a middle aged man).
The room service was pretty good and replenished disposable towels and tissues amply, we realised there was a security dude sitting in an office in the wall with a tiny window at the base of the lifts. It's quite an old and run down building, the price I paid I thought I'd be getting a little more comfort but it's the one hotel out of five (mid range priced) I stayed with the toilet and shower in one (toilet will get wet after your shower). Perhaps it's the location but it's the least comfortable of 5 hotels I've been in but not the cheapest, not the worst hotel though the service was quite decent. Turns out the most expensive hotel had the worst service on top of an old, crumbling building in Hangzhou..
