Hotels in Pearl Plaza, Haikou

A pleasant hotel! Everything looks quite new. Comfortable bed (I especially liked that there is a choice between regular pillows and memory foam pillows). Good value for money (especially compared to hotels in Sanya where I am now and where hotels in this price range seem much lower quality). Friendly staff at reception. The only thing that could be better is sound insulation, in particular noise coming from outside the hotel. Even with the window closed, it felt as though it was open (what you hear is mostly traffic noise - which I got used to pretty quickly - but one evening also some loud music which annoyed me more; that stopped at 22:30 though, so not too bad after all). If I return to Haikou, I might certainly consider this hotel again.

The location is super nice on the old street, and the aesthetic of the rooms is nice, with a bit of wooden smell as well. However, some things were a bit below what I'd expect: -＞ The A.C. can cool the main room (seating area) well, but due to the loft bed and lack of fan, it stay warm for a long time, just barely gets a bit cool later. -＞ When you leave the room and remove the card, even the sockets stop working! Usually I understand turning off the lights / A.C. etc, but ideally sockets would stay powered to charge stuff. Since I wasn't in my room often, I couldn't keep my laptop charged as expected. Other than that, some walls were slightly moldy in the corners and a bit of grime around the edges, but not too shabby.

This time, I had a great experience staying at the Friendship Square branch of Aili Smart Hotel! The room is fully equipped with smart devices, voice control of lights and curtains is super convenient, and there is also a high-quality audio-visual system, 222 leisure and entertainment is super comfortable. The overall environment is even better, the decoration is stylish and atmospheric, the room is clean and tidy without dead corners, and the city scenery is outside the window. Excellent sound insulation, quiet and comfortable, especially comfortable to stay, highly recommended!

Haikou has been cold these two days, and it is really convenient to have this robe, otherwise I don’t know how cold it is. The surrounding area is also very convenient, not far from the Sun Moon Plaza, it is very convenient to take a taxi, and there are also many places to eat. The hotel breakfast is still OK, and the variety is still OK. The service is quite good, and the mineral water is also unlimited, and there is a mini free bar. Well, drinks are also provided free of charge. Overall, it is really good and worth recommending. The service awareness is also very strong. I will stay here next time. Well, a small suggestion, I hope the elevator sign should be clearer. It can be seen at a glance, and the office elevator and the elevator should have clear signs, which one is the hotel elevator and which one is the office elevator? It is also very uncomfortable to avoid customers walking the wrong way. Overall, it is good. Clean and comfortable, drip coffee is good. The hotel is also relatively new and smart.

Booked this hotel for an 11hr layover in Haikou as I wanted to do some exploring in town. Called in advance from Australia to see if I could check in outside of the listed policy check in time and what I needed to do to secure my booking as some hotels don’t allow for early check in. While the staff don’t speak fluent English I was able to confirm with basic Mandarin that reception is open 24hrs and this was fine. They helped me with the right day to book the hotel, otherwise I would’ve booked the wrong day as I was only staying from 6am to 2pm (checkout time). Customer service provided by Miss Wu Chiang Mei was fantastic! This is so much value for money. Rooms are spacious and the rooms are automated - the curtains opened on arrival! The tech in the room is impressive. While not in the heart of the bustling tourist areas, it’s only a short 10min Didi ride to most attractions. It’s also walkable if you don’t mind a 40min walk. Highly recommend, would stay again and hopefully longer.

I came here for a trip and saw good reviews. The price is affordable and very suitable for travel. The service attitude of the lady at the front desk is also very good. You need to swipe your card to get on the elevator, which is very safe. I feel relieved to stay in the hotel

Hotel staff (especially Xiao Yan and another manager who helped me) were extremely helpful and efficient as I had an error in booking but they handled it swiftly. Room was very new clean and had good amenities. Breakfast spread was good. The area of the hotel was very convenient as the mall is just opposite the hotel. Will definitely recommend to families who is traveling to Haikou! Thank you staff at Junhao hotel!

Mark was awesome and patient, location is pretty convenient to visit Haikou’s attractions. Breakfast is international, food is decent and edible too. Worth to get up early for the breakfast. Check-in/extension takes a while though. Facilities is fine, with gym and standard fixture of laundry room as with most China hotels. Gym has a yoga area, with more than basic treadmill and dumbbells only, having a functional trainer available too.

Very good location near to Qilou Old Street. Food street is just nearby with lots of local food and snacks. There are many shops selling souvenirs or snacks too. Room is clean and spacious. Unique design every room. Water strength is good for shower. Room has a little cigarette smell which I don't like. But smell is mostly gone in the evening after turning on the air withdrawal fan in the washroom. Otherwise all is good. The front desk staff was very friendly.

We were here for vacation and very amazed with the friendly staff and good services. They were swift to respond to our needs for stuff replacement in the room and information on surrounding shopping and attractions. Special call out to Qiu Lin for her great assistance. The room is nice, cosy and modern in decoration. Overall, a great hotel to stay in..
