It is much more convenient to stay in the mountains when visiting Hakone, because there are so many attractions that one day is really not enough. The B&B is at Sengoroumae Station of the bus, and it is very convenient to go to Togendai Station to take the cable car and the pirate ship. There is a whole family nearby, the owner The attitude of this hotel is very good, and the hot spring experience is great. There are indoor and outdoor hot springs, and you can also book a nearby restaurant. It is very close to the forest of sculptures and the nearby hillside with a large reed.

An excellent family run guest house . Lovely simple rooms with comfortable beds on tatami mats . Great communal space with tea and coffee available . Yukatas with jacket available for all guests . Excellent breakfast with ‘real’ coffee available at good price (1100yen) . An indoor and outdoor Onsen fed from the thermal springs. Although bathrooms are communal there are enough available and are kept immaculately clean. A real treat of a stay .

Stayed as part of a tour group. Was such a lovely welcome from the family after a long day of travelling! The futon beds are so comfortable and the outside onsen is very relaxing. Rooms are very spacious with a heater you can adjust the temperature in. There is also a family dog, らいと who is so cute!

I had one of the best experiences in my life ❤️ The host was super friendly, they helped me organise my day, and recommended places to eat. The spring bath was amazing, I do recommend paying a bit extra and having the one outside. The room was traditional style, kimono for you to fully experience the moment. All was very well functioning, and the bed was super comfortable! I definitely recommend this place!

One of my favorite places to stay in Japan was the Fuji Hakone Guest House. It is a place that genuinely feels like a home away from home. The rooms were beautiful, and sleeping on the futons was like sleeping on a cloud. Bathing in the onsen (tattoo-friendly) relieves all tension and stress in the muscles, which leaves your whole body relaxed. There is also a piano in the main room with various music books available to play. My friends and I had fun with the piano since I am a pianist. They also have the sweetest dog named Light who comes out for cuddles. I highly recommend this place for anyone who travels to Japan.

The loveliest people and they create such a warm and welcoming environment, feels like a home 💕 Facilities clean like new and the natural hot springs were amazing!! Definitely recommend a stay here to relax on your travels and rejuvenate. Felt so great mentally and physically after this stay. Thanks again for having us 🙏

Stayed there for one night on a group trip. Very nice Family and good service. The rooms are lovely as well as the onsen and the common room. Loved the stay, would have liked to stay longer. And that was one cute dog :)
