Hamburg Hotels with Bars

Stayed in the hotel for 6 nights, on a business trip + a casual trip. The hotel is generally very good. The front desk is very professional and friendly. In addition, I saw that there was indeed a Chinese receptionist at the front desk. The room is quite big, and it's a very luxurious stay😄. You'll feel like you're still in China haha~ The facilities and hygiene are good, and the cleaning is quite timely. The breakfast is quite rich and the price/performance ratio is quite good, but there are quite a lot of people on weekends. In addition, the location of the hotel is also quite good. It is very close to the Maiden Causeway and the church within walking distance. But it’s not in a noisy tourist area, and the restaurants nearby are not expensive. There are supermarkets and DMs within a 5-minute walk~ During my week in Germany, my best experience was at the hotel. I highly recommend it.

The location is good for those who stay only a few nights. There is no air conditioning, and during summer it can be hot, so we had to open the window, which I don't mind. However, it was very loud at night. Because the hostel is huge and has a lot of rooms, the whole night was filled with the sounds of people knocking next doors, traffic, and general noise.

We stayed a week while visiting our son. Breakfast was good to excellent. Staff serving very good. The bar /restaurant at the hotel was good. Prices were similar to outside. The room furnishings were ok/budget quality. No drawers for clothes. The bed was comfortable. Convenient to Berliner Tor subway station (8-10 minute walk). During our stay there was road construction all around which made access from the subway a little challenging. I would stay again. Budget hotel at a convenient location for us.

I came to Hamburg to visit friends and work online. I have never been so productive in my work and never felt so well looked after. Overall, it was the best experience I've had in a hotel since years. The Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten is extremely welcoming, perfectly located, and the landmark for high quality stay. I highly recommend it.

I was there for 2 nights. Location was good and room was also cozy and nice. All things are good except the amenities. It would be good if they should provide tea kettle with tea bags. There was only 1 small bottle of water as a welcome drink and they never refill it. There was no toothpaste in the toilet. Breakfast was also good but they should charge €10 but instead they are charging €15. Rest is good and recommended.

Stayed in early Jan 2025 on Sat and Sun so price went up and hotel was busy too. Less guests on Sunday. Heaters in room and bathroom work well. Good hot water. Old hotel and old room and the cleanliness is so so. Room is large enough and has a window but no balcony. Room lighting is not as bright as I like, only 2 lights in bedroom and 1 light in bathroom. One elevator didn’t work so we used another elevator. Can scan the QR code at Reception to fill in guests details and show them the confirmation number at the end to receive your 2 room electronic key cards. Reception staff are doing their job fine, not showing much interest in guests. We prefer the a&o Hbf in Munich: cleaner, has balcony and staff services are warmer. I cooked a simple meal in the guest kitchen once, washed and cleaned before I left. Some previous guests didn’t clean their dishes and the pan they cooked pasta. There’s a microwave, an electric oven and a refrigerator. I used the pot to boil and pan to fry. Can sit about 6 persons in the kitchen.

The hotel is right on a main road, the city center and Hafencity are within easy walking distance in 15-20 minutes. Rooms are OK, but not necessarily 5 stars. Chairs a bit worn, radio channels didn't work, TV only limited on a Friday evening. Lobby/entrance lacks charm. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking garage easily accessible and even after checking out you could leave the car there to go into the city. A week before, we had stayed in a 4 star hotel in a different chain in Bonn. The facilities there were much better. So, as we expected a different standard, we were a bit disappointed. We had breakfast at Café Irma in the side street.

This is not the first time we have booked with this hotel chain and we are very happy. The only thing we did wrong was to book the cheapest room, the conditions were not the best as there was humidity all over the room and the floor is half broken. Everything else was a ten out of ten. Including the breakfast, wonderful.

It is ideally situated in between the central bus and train stations. Bed is very comfortable and honestly, had one of the best sleeps I had on my first night (when there was only two of us in the room). My second and third night were ruined by new guests that were snoring way louder than the rumblings of the train passing by lols. Had great view from the room window. Staff were very professional, helpful and friendly; truly appreciated that! 👍☺️ Oh! And the elevator is erm… unique 😛
