Le Méridien Hamburg

Stayed for nine days with family and friends, and it was a very comfortable experience. It's a shame the weather wasn't ideal most of the time, and our schedule didn't quite allow us to fully enjoy the beautiful scenery and delicious food by the lake. The biggest highlight was the breakfast at the Heritage panoramic restaurant on the hotel's ninth floor; the quality was excellent and the view was unbeatable. There are many restaurants on the street behind the hotel, with the Italian restaurant and the ramen shop being particularly good. On the evening of our last day, the weather was perfect, and we took a long, very pleasant walk along the lake. (The only minor issue was the shower – water would splash out, and we'd have to wipe it up ourselves afterwards.)

The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was great too. The only thing is the bathroom lighting was a bit harsh/ unflattering.
