The hotel is expertly decorated with a warm wooden feel. The reception assistant Kai was kind, caring, helpful, and super friendly. Large comfortable beds. Super delicious restaurant downstairs. Highly recommend staying here with a small infant.

Here you feel well taken care of by the staff, the room was large and modern design integrated with the old. Lovely bathroom, comfortable bed and bed linen, slightly worse was the spot lighting when darkness fell. The breakfast was completely to my liking, beautifully and cleverly presented. As I said, fewer articles and better. That's right. Struggled a bit with the German mouth protection policy, but everything was in good faith.

Im Grunde ein hübsches Haus. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung, wenn auch keine Highlight. Die Qualität des Frühstücks war hervorragend und die 25 Euro durchaus wert.
Was nicht sonderlich toll war, ist der Service.
Wir wollten etwas als Hotelgäste in der Bar trinken. Plätze waren mehr als genug vorhanden. Wir wurden aber gebeten unseren Tee auf unserem Zimmer zu uns zu nehmen, da es an Personal mangelt und auswärtige Gäste schon nicht angenommen wurden. Es wäre diesen Gästen unfair gegenüber, wenn wir als Hotelgäste dann unser Getränk an der Bar zu uns nehmen würden.
Der Sinn erschließt sich mir bis heute nicht, da der Tee ja eh zubereitet wurde.
Das war schräg und hoffentlich nicht der Anspruch des Hauses.
Die Rechnung habe ich lustigerweise erst sehen dürfen, nachdem ich den angesagten Betrag bezahlt habe. Dann wurde mir die Rechnung ausgehändigt. Lustige Reihenfolge, aber sei es drum.
Ich denke im Service ist noch viel Luft nach oben. Sehr viel. Wir bedenken, bitte das eine Übernachtung über 200 € gekostet hat. Ohne Frühstück, wohlgemerkt.
Bis auf das Frühstück, das wirklich super war, hätte es auch ein Ibis oder ein anderes Mittelklassehotel getan.

In der Stadt aber trotzdem sehr ruhig gelegenes Hotel mit einem sehr freundlichen Personal und sehr gut ausgestatteten Zimmern. Ausgezeichnetes Frühstücksangebot. Parkplatz direkt am Hotel. Ich komme gerne wieder!

Ganz viel POSITIVES: - Landhaus in idyllischer Umgebung (Groß Flottbek/Othmarschen) - Gute Ausgangslage in HH-West (nahe Blankenese, Elb-Chaussee mit Parks Elbhöhenweg etc.) und trotzdem citynah (ca. 10-15 Min. mit dem Auto) - traditionelles Gebäude mit modernem Charme!!! - Unser Zimmer (32 im DG)/Bad: etwas klein mit Dachschrägen, aber gemütlich und praktisch eingerichtet, Bad modernisiert mit schönem Dusch-Bereich - Ambiente in Landhausstil mit modernen Elementen - Zimmer-Blick in den (Bier-)-Garten - wir haben uns so richtig wohlgefühlt und sind gerne ins Hotel zurückgekehrt!!! - last but not least: der sehr nette & zuvorkommende Service!!! Besuch im Restaurant HYGGE... neues Konzept seit 2017! Raum-Konzept, Beleuchtungs-Konzept, Essen & Getränke, Service: alles perfekt! Ein äußerst gelungener Abend mit Kamin-Stimmung im noch frostigen Frühling! Kritik: - Matratzen im Zimmer waren für uns zu weich (leicht durchgelegen) - Teppichboden (vermutlich als Dämmschutz) nicht zeitgemäß und nichts für Allergiker - teilweise Flugverkehr (schade... trübt ein bißchen die Idylle) Unsere Empfehlung... Highlight war für uns der Besuch in der Brasserie HYGGE*****
