Lanhu Business Hotel

Hotel was good, relatively easy to find and in a perfect location, the surrounding Qinghefang streets and canals are great to explore day and night. Only ＜10 mins walk from metro Longxiangqiao station, and 15 mins to West Lake. The room was clean enough, bed comfortable and bathroom was fine. They have luggage storage and washing machines too. Good value for the price of a private room in a great location.

The room is small so be careful if you have big luggage. The surrounding is quite convenient with groceries and food streets. Staff are very friendly and willing to help.

The location is great, really close to the West lake and other sightseeing spots. The room is pretty old comparing to the pictures. Moreover, we visited Hangzhou in the end of January, and it was freaking cold in the room, ac helps not much as the wind blows from the window. The room was cleaned every day, but bed linen was changed only once. Anyway, for this low price the hotel worth it.

Space is small. Can't even have space to open up my laggage properly. Washing machine is old model.

The floors of the hotel might shock you, old and dirty but I only stayed for a night. They don’t have heaters in certain rooms (or maybe all rooms, can’t tell) so it was pretty cold. The receptionist don’t speak English and don’t seem helpful, especially during night shifts. I stood in front of this one lady for various minutes, she saw me come down but continued to watch whatever she was watching on her phone. Poor service.
