Just ok

Do not stay in the dorm room. Although it’s cheap there were a mix of strange people staying, some who looked like they started there semi permanently. My friend couldn’t sleep for noise. There was no proper security, supposed to be pin codes to 2 doors including the room but not working. The communal toilets and showers were not clean and no kitchen for breakfast on a Sunday. Only positive was close to Ally Pally. Definitely wouldn’t stay again.

Stayed here for the darts at ally pally had a private room the beds wernt the most comfortable but couldn’t complaint to much for the price and being in duck a greats spot only a couple hundred metres from the underground. Made it very easy to get around will definitely stop here again!

If you're looking for somewhere to SLEEP, I do not recommend this hotel! We stayed for 1 night and got no sleep due to an event on in the room above ours. This is a pretty old building so the walls, floors etc are all very thin. The music was SO loud in our room it was vibrating the lights! and could be easily heard word for word....even in the shower!! We complained to reception who told us there were no other rooms available...the lady working spoke with the hotel manager who was off. She informed her the event was on till 1am but the music would be turned down at 12....this did not happen! When they finally turned the music off at 1:30 they then spend another 2 hours dragging furniture around which was also incredibly loud! We finally fell asleep and were then startled awake before 8am by them dragging heavy furniture around again!! We complained again when checking out and member of staff apologised but was not sympathetic to the situation at all. We felt it was as though they cared more about keeping the event guests happy than the hotel residents. The manager was still off but was due in the following day, our information was to be passed to her for her to call us (as we obviously requested a full refund)....we've still heard nothing from her!.... My husband and I never complain and if there's a problem we just suck it up, but this was so shocking and unbelievable it could not be ignored!

Had a nice meal here. Ordered the salmon teriyaki bento box which was a lot of food. Lots of different things so pleasantly surprised. Couldn't eat all of it. Comes with a soup too. Reasonable price so happy. Seemed like a nice venue. Saw people working there or just having coffee and cafe. The only thing that let it down was the dirty cutlery and grubby toilets. The tap water was taken from a tray of already poured glasses of water uncovered so I wasn't too keen on drinking it. Service is included in bill. Not keen on that either tbh, I always like to leave my own tip for service. Oita is located in the Green Rooms which is an hotel.

I stayed here midweek and it was fine and good location for underground, buses, Alexandra Palace etc. The room was basic but clean and tidy. There was a bit of road noise being in a busy area, I don't know if being higher up would help a bit. The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming so thank you to them.

We stayed in a double room for one night as we were attending a late kickoff at The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. It is easy to get to and from the ground with a free shuttle bus running from a bus stop about 7minutes from the hostel. It’s a great location to stay and very reasonably priced. The room is basic but has beautiful original features and decor. Everything was spotless and the bed was comfortable. We had an en-suite bathroom which was a good size and had a decent shower. I would have liked a mirror in the bedroom as the bathroom light was not very good. Otherwise it was exactly what we needed. Unfortunately there was no breakfast available, but we were given some recommendations for local places by the very helpful staff. It is not a hotel, it is a hostel, so this needs to be considered when booking. I think many of the reviews are unfair as they don’t seem to consider this fact.

We were a bit apprehensive at first, but was generally satisfied when we arrived. Our room - 110 ensuite was very *****ped back and basic but it was clean and great value for the price we paid for London. The bed was also very comfy and the shower was pretty powerful! Just don’t expect any luxuries or a telly!!
