The Crown Hotel
"Staff were friendly. Room was clean and had everything I needed. The bar area was lovely. I was up too early for breakfast so can't comment on that. I would stay again if in the area."
HTO15332 - Rudding Park
"Before booking, I spoke with the reservations team by telephone to discuss and clarify exactly what was included within the Stay, Supper & Spa experience. I was advised that the £35 per person allowance could be used towards both food and drinks at Horto Restaurant; however, this later proved to be incorrect in relation to drinks, which was frustrating. The booking confirmation invited us to let the hotel know if we were celebrating anything during our stay at Rudding Park. In response, I provided some additional requested information and explained that this stay was a rare treat, primarily for my wife to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I added that I would be very grateful for any special touches that could be included to help make the experience extra memorable. I subsequently received an email response stating that a note would be made that this stay was a special treat for my wife and that the team would do their best to add a thoughtful touch to make our experience extra memorable. While I appreciate that none of this was guaranteed, I knew from the moment we approached the reception desk and were asked the purpose of our stay that this information had not been relayed. Unfortunately, no thoughtful touches or acknowledgements were received during our visit. After check-in, we visited the Clocktower Bar and sat in the courtyard. We were greeted and advised that someone would come to take our drinks order. After waiting approximately 15 minutes, we placed our order and then waited a further 10 minutes before our drinks arrived. I noticed two other couples were able to pay by card machine at their tables, but when we were ready to leave there appeared to be no staff around, and I had to go inside to find someone in order to settle the bill before returning to our room. The itinerary we received consisted of supper at 5:15pm, followed by spa access at 6:30pm. In practice, this felt rather rushed, and I do not feel the process was fully explained beforehand. In particular, there was no clear information regarding the location of Horto within the spa area or the need to bring a bag and be prepared to change immediately after eating. While we both enjoyed our main courses, we felt the dessert menu was somewhat disappointing. The rooftop spa was undoubtedly our favourite part of the stay. The facilities were clean, and we particularly enjoyed both the infinity pool and the outdoor hot tub. Once our two-hour access had finished, we freshened up and returned to the Clocktower Bar, where the live music had just finished. We enjoyed a few drinks there before retiring for the evening. Unfortunately, during the early hours of the morning, my wife became unwell and experienced vomiting, with suspected food poisoning. While we cannot conclusively determine the source, the Chicken Caesar salad was the only item that my wife consumed which differed from my own meal. Sadly, this meant she was unable to attend breakfast and missed the final part of "

The Arc - Boutique B&B
Granville Apartments Harrogate
"Had an enjoyable stay. Excellent position in the town centre. Would use again but felt there was some issues that could be addressed or noted on the information. Flat 2 was up two flights of stairs which could be an issue and this should be noted. We struggled to find the apartment as it is down a very small side street off the main road. Also there are some up and down steps to access the entrance door. We felt some lighting on these would have been beneficial as they were dangerous in the dark. We couldn’t find a teapot and had to use the coffee pot. Personally I would have liked a shelf or small table in the bathroom to put my toiletries on. A bulb needs replacing as it was flickering all the time. But other than this I would recommend it to others."
Premier Inn Harrogate South
"There was no ventilation whatsoever in the room. This meant that the building had become so warm during the heat wave that even with the curtains and window open as far as it would open and 3 fans on full blast all night (2 were already in the room and we approached staff in the evening to request a cooler room particularly as we had our two young children with us and were advised that there was not one available and were instead given the third fan), the room remained at 30 degrees consistently and did not cool all night despite the outside temperature dropping to 16 degrees, well over 10 degrees below this. In fact, it was raining and 14 degrees when we left. This made for an incredibly uncomfortable night and we barely slept, with both our young children being hot to the touch all night. I was so uncomfortable that I would have left and slept in my car had I not been with my children. It also meant we left early and had to detour elsewhere to get ready for the formal event we were attending as the room was too uncomfortable to remain in any longer than necessary. When we left we flagged the issue again to staff, particularly as we were concerned that it is not safe for housekeeping to be working in such conditions continuously. We were assured the feedback would be passed on to management and it is hoped that the issue will be addressed in the current renovation work. I am very disappointed in the Premier Inn, which I have successfully booked with on multiple occasions in the past, particularly given the high price of the room (£141 for one night without breakfast) which I have paid for in full. I do not feel that I have any incentive to book again with Premier Inn given this very unpleasant and disappointing experience."
Sophie's Bed and Breakfast
"Lovely place to stay, Sophie and the staff are really welcoming . Very good breakfast and really clean, beautiful location. We would stay again any time we are in the area. Highly recommended. Also Sophie's cakes are delicious. Pub nearby handy for evening meals."
Premier Inn Harrogate Town Centre
"The Premier Inn Harrogate represented good value for money. It is very near to the town centre. It is only minutes away from the Conference centre The cleanthiness of corridors could be improved. There is an issue with running out of hot food and bananas. The staff were all lovely."
Cairn Hotel
"A very large hotel, suitable for a one-night stay. The soundproofing doesn’t seem very good, so you can’t speak loudly at night, but the price is very reasonable and affordable."
The Inn South Stainley
"Hotel & food first class .. Staff very friendly & helpful . We have stayed numerous times ."
Travelodge Harrogate
"Checking out today. We’ve stayed here many times and it’s become our ‘go to’ hotel in Harrogate. The manager, Betty, has been there for many years and always makes time to make guests feel welcome. Nothing is too much trouble for Betty and her team. It’s a budget hotel but very comfortable and great value. The central location is ideal and there are lots of amenities nearby, including a good Wetherspoons next door for a cheap meal or drink. We’ll be back again before too long, no doubt."
The Franklin
"10/10 would recommend staying here. The family are so warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much. The room was lovely, the breakfast was delicious and I will definitely be staying again. It is so central and around the corner from bars and restaurants."
