The Franklin
"10/10 would recommend staying here. The family are so warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much. The room was lovely, the breakfast was delicious and I will definitely be staying again. It is so central and around the corner from bars and restaurants."
The Willow Bed and Breakfast
"We had a one night stay here on our way back from Northumberland. We arrived late afternoon and found the car park which is behind the property. Some of the spaces are tight, but we managed to get the last space. We entered the building from the rear and on speaking to someone in the kitchen, we were shown upstairs to our room. It is basically a tea room with rooms. It was a reasonable size, clean, with an en-suite, a separate chair, tea and coffee, a TV and thankfully a fan. It was a very hot evening and we needed to have the window open and the fan going to get some sleep. This increased the noise in the room, but it was very quiet outside until around 8am. Breakfast was served in the tea room. It was hearty and set us up for the day."
Murray House
"Excellent stay at an immaculate B&B. We were made to feel very welcome by the lovely host who was very helpful. The room was light and airy with a large comfortable bed and was well equipped. There was a good variety of breakfast options. Free parking permits were a bonus with a very short walk to the town centre shops, bars and restaurants. Will definitely return and recommend to others."
The Arc - Boutique B&B
Sophie's Bed and Breakfast
"For 11 years we stayed at a lovely B&B in Nidderdale and called at Sophie’s for packed lunches, meals and an occasional coffee and cake. Sophie and her staff were always friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. We said we should try her B&B if we couldn’t stay at our Favourite one and last year that happened. We have just returned from our second stay and are about to rebook for a week next year. We have the double room on the top floor. An airy room with fantastic views over the garden, fields and across the valley. I had full English breakfast every day and my wife had poached eggs on smashed avocado on sourdough bread. It was always perfect. Quality food expertly cooked. We bought sandwiches for our packed lunches, a little dearer than a supermarket but delicious. Sophie is the perfect hostess, friendly and helpful. Her homemade recipes book is excellent and includes interesting notes on her background and the founding of her business."
Premier Inn Harrogate South
"There was no ventilation whatsoever in the room. This meant that the building had become so warm during the heat wave that even with the curtains and window open as far as it would open and 3 fans on full blast all night (2 were already in the room and we approached staff in the evening to request a cooler room particularly as we had our two young children with us and were advised that there was not one available and were instead given the third fan), the room remained at 30 degrees consistently and did not cool all night despite the outside temperature dropping to 16 degrees, well over 10 degrees below this. In fact, it was raining and 14 degrees when we left. This made for an incredibly uncomfortable night and we barely slept, with both our young children being hot to the touch all night. I was so uncomfortable that I would have left and slept in my car had I not been with my children. It also meant we left early and had to detour elsewhere to get ready for the formal event we were attending as the room was too uncomfortable to remain in any longer than necessary. When we left we flagged the issue again to staff, particularly as we were concerned that it is not safe for housekeeping to be working in such conditions continuously. We were assured the feedback would be passed on to management and it is hoped that the issue will be addressed in the current renovation work. I am very disappointed in the Premier Inn, which I have successfully booked with on multiple occasions in the past, particularly given the high price of the room (£141 for one night without breakfast) which I have paid for in full. I do not feel that I have any incentive to book again with Premier Inn given this very unpleasant and disappointing experience."
Premier Inn Harrogate Town Centre
"Staff were great on check in, as were all the staff throughout our stay. Room was clean, tidy lots of space (Premier Plus room) with aircon, fridge, tea/coffee facilities. Free 15 minute drop off then parked in nearby conference centre car park. Breakfast had plenty of choice, nice bar area for a drink. Would definitely stay again."
Old Swan Hotel
"NEXT TIME, I will stay the above Hotel again"
The Grafton
"Absolutely immaculately cleaned. Very nice rooms too, nice high spec. Very nice owners. If return Harrogate will be staying here again"
The Inn South Stainley
"Amazing from start to finish. Breakfast was delicious, great options. Room (lodge suites) we’re warm, noise proof and clean Food, slightly on the more expensive side, however good size portions and delicious so worth the extra money! Attention to detail throughout our was unreal. We will certainly be back!!"
The Studley Hotel
"Excellent service. Friendly staff. Great location close to shops and bars"
