We planned to stay in Hexham and spotted this place 12 miles away. It had good reviews so we looked more closely. For us, the deciding factor was the fact it had an ev charger; that meant we could charge overnight and make it all the way home! I’m so glad we made that decision! The place is lovely. The staff are smiling and friendly. The food is delicious. The scenery gorgeous. The room cosy and comfortable. We now plan to come back for a few days to explore further.

First and foremost, fabulous staff! From check in and through to breakfast, everyone was really friendly (especially the ladies at breakfast). Really nice stay booked at short notice but one to revisit whenever I’m next in the area.

Tip - the best and most iconic parts of Hadrian's wall are just a short walk from the Twice Brewed Inn.

The TwiceBrewed was so friendly and the staff so helpful. A quaint, cottage style hotel with everything you might need to explore the beautiful area of Hadrian’s Wall. Beautiful decor, amazing food and a place we’ll definitely recommend and return to.

Excellent staff, location was perfect from Hadrian wall. The hotel was clean, lovely rooms, Comfortable beds with all the amenities. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. We highly recommend staying at the Twice brewed inn.
