I stayed at this hotel 10 years ago and returned again recently. While the rooms are quite dated, the service really stood out this time. We happened to be there during Typhoon Wipha and were confined to the hotel for safety. With no prior experience, we weren’t sure what to do, but the staff took great care of us — answering all our questions and ensuring we felt safe. On the morning we were locked in, we had breakfast at the hotel and the staff encouraged us to take extra food back to our rooms to tide over lunch. The concierge and front desk teams were also very helpful and professional throughout our stay. Truly appreciate their thoughtful and attentive service.

Metropark Hotel Mongkok is conveniently located just a 2–3 minute walk from Prince Edward MTR station, though be prepared to carry your luggage up a staircase. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Ricky at the front desk who gave a warm welcome. The room had a slight musty smell when the air conditioning was off, and the hotel placed multiple air purifiers along the corridor. It would be better if each room had its own. No complimentary drinking water is provided—bottled water costs HKD3 via vending machines, which is cheap for Hong Kong, but only local e-payments are accepted.

Everything is cleaned thoroughly🥹🥹👍🏻 all thanks to the cleaners that keep our room cleaned at all times. They even have drinking water dispenser provided in the room, save us all a hussle to keep buying drinking water. Hotel lobby staffs were patient and friendly, easy to go anywhere, be it by car or mtr. Hotel is connected a MOKO mall, easy access and also to Mong Kok East station. Definitely reco for HK stay 👍🏻👍🏻

During each visit to Hong Kong, I always stay at the Best Western Plus Kowloon hotel. The location is fantastic, with the East TST MTR station just minutes away. There are plenty of local and Western restaurants in the area, along with a Wellcome supermarket, 7-Eleven, and various other shops all within a short walking distance of less than 100 meters. The service at the hotel is exceptional. If they have a room available, they will always allow you to check in as early as 12 PM, even though the official check-in time is at 3 PM. If you need a late check-out, the hotel is accommodating and will let you check out by 12 PM. The rooms are well-organized, clean, and offer decent views. As a regular guest, I often receive room upgrades if there is availability. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel to all business travelers and even families!!

Very convenient location - directly linked to Tsim Sha Tsui and East Tsim Sha Tsui station. Lots of food options around - whether within TST or at Mongkok or Jordan. Also very near popular eats like Bakehouse and Jenny Bakery! Asked for ice across a few nights and the staff were helpful and prompt in bringing it to us - the only issue was what they brought the ice in (which was quite funny). On the first day, Thomas very kindly helped us to request for it and it came in a proper ice bucket. On the second day, it came in a huge wine bucket and on the third day, it came in a random small metal bowl, both of which were quite a surprising yet funny sight. But all in all, we had a comfortable stay at The Kowloon Hotel!

Great value for a big room, huge comfortable bed, big tv, good size bathroom, mini fridge, and a view from the 15th floor! Could the hotel do with a refurbishment? Sure .... but it was clean and a nice 4 star old school feel. Very safe with elevator access via room card only, it's location (exit D (or even E) Jordan station 50 metres from hotel entrance) was superb, and the 22 sqm room was perfect for my 4 night stay. Staff all very friendly, welcoming, even housekeeping staff were all smiles ! Great level of English speaking by all front of house staff. Didn't try the Food and Beverage offering in the hotel, breakfast seemed very reasonable priced Shops, restaurants, park, all within 5 mins walk. If you like a busy area but a nice and quiet hotel, this is it. At corner of Nathan Road and Jordan Road, south east, is a great bubble tea place with offers for 15-20 HKD, great taste, quickly prepared, friendly staff. Left my powerbank in error in my room, and that was swiftly traced back and delivered in the reception. Highly recommended!

We were very disappointed with our stay at the Empire Hotel Kowloon. The room was extremely small and poorly laid out, especially the bathroom, which was very cramped and impractical. The window was tiny, letting in barely any natural light, which made the room feel even more claustrophobic. The furniture and building overall felt old and worn down, clearly in need of renovation. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was the indoor pool — but to our surprise, it was closed for renovation during the peak summer season. This was not communicated clearly in advance, which felt misleading. To make matters worse, the cleanliness in the bathroom was far from acceptable. Overall, this hotel does not live up to its price or rating. We would not stay here again.

MMewiiiAs a frequent traveler to Hong Kong, I’d say this hostel is my top favorite as of the moment and we’re already planning to book again for our next year travel back to HK. Location-wise, it’s the best. Walking distance to the harbour, nearby malls like Silvercord, K11 Art Mall, Mira Mall, and Harbour City, surrounded by restaurants and fast food chains, a grocery in front, and two MTR exits (A1 with lift and escalators going up and down, and A2 with escalator going up and stairs). It is also few blocks away from Bakehouse (😆). In terms of room size for 3 pax, it’s livable and pretty spacious as compared to our room on the 9th floor last year 🤭 from the same building. We have 5 luggages - 2 carry ons and three medium check-in luggages, and yet there’s still space for the mini table and chair and we still have space to move inside the room. I love their big glass windows which give us the best view of Nathan Road. They also offer water refilling dispenser which is a big saver because bottled waters in HK are pretty expensive! Stayed here for 6 nights and got new towels everyday after the room has been cleaned, and bottled water replenishes. Rooms are clean and looks the same as advertised in the pictures. Only cons I would say is that the shower area doesn’t have a door or divider so water splashes everywhere and floor gets flooded, but still tolerable. I would also like to suggest having a microwave for food reheating. 😁 aside from that, everything you need is here. In terms of room rates, price is okay and expected for HK standard; still cheaper than booking a hotel room from known hotels in this location which would also require security deposit. As for this hostel, no need for security deposit. Thanks to Trip.com and was able to get an early bird rate for this room. For security concerns, the building has security personnels when you enter, CCTVs are working in elevators and specific areas, hostel floor is secured with passcode which can only be opened with guest keycards. Room security doors are also up-to-date or modern. I love it!! Kudos also to Filipina housekeepers for being so approachable, helpful and kind to us during our stay. While the boss is very hands on in reaching out in WeChat for any concerns and also provided guide around the area and tourist attractions. SUPER RECOMMENDED!!! Loved and enjoyed our stay. We already miss the view. See you again next year! 🩷

MMiliusI feel extremely lucky to have found this little gem in Hong Kong. The dorms are extremely well laid out, with plenty of space for the suitcase and personal belongings. The bedrooms and bathrooms are sparkling clean, the common areas are cosy, there's everything you need in terms of kitchen utensils, the water pressure in the showers is amazing, the rooftop is a really place to hang out in the evenings, and most of all, the host Patricia makes you feel at home. I got there solo, and after a few nights I'm leaving with a bunch of friends. This place certainly has a magical power 😊

GGuest UserThis family hotel is in a great location, just two blocks from Mong Kok Station. There's an elevator. The rooms are small, only 10 square meters, but they have everything you need (private bathroom with shower, air conditioning, a fan, and an adapter). Our room didn't have a window, but thankfully, we didn't feel stuffy. The owner is a beautiful woman and very kind. The staff are also very helpful and eager to help with any questions. We arrived early, and the owner even said there were two rooms available for us to choose from. The door requires a code, which is very secure. The value for money is excellent.

The common area was also clean with tables you could use ✅ The room and toilet was huge and clean. The bed was those firm kind which i like ✅ stayed at level 14 was quiet even though there is a stretch of bars on ground level ❌ The pillows are too soft but was still acceptable ❌ Only biggest downside was you have to walk up a steep slope to reach the hotel . Not suitable for family with elderly otherwise i feel i had a good stay here. Love this hotel

GGuest UserFinding the place was not difficult and I had walked from Kowloon West station. Staff was friendly. When no one is at reception, phone is located on the wall outside the main door to call the hotline for service. Room and toilet were small but typical of such lodgings in HK for such price. Enough for one person to move about in it but if working on the computer need to sit on the bed. No chair in the room, but would not have space for it. Room facilities all working and adaptor provided at wall power outlet. Location is good as Jordan station is right near to the building. Lots of food places around.

Not sure if the water pressure is too low, the hot water in the shower is so small that it is dripping, impossible to shower.
