Jeju City Hostels

My friend and I stayed here for two nights during our three-day trip to Jeju, after seeing recommendations online that it was run by Chinese owners. The hotel is conveniently located near the city center, making it easy to get around, and it's less than a ten-minute walk to Shilla Duty Free. The hotel is incredibly clean; even the water stains in the bathroom were perfectly removed, and all the nooks and crannies were thoroughly cleaned. You'd never guess it's an older hotel. They provide power strips, so you don't need to bring your own adapter. Toothpaste, toothbrushes, combs, and even skincare products are all supplied. The price is also very reasonable, and the owner is lovely and kind. Luggage storage is very convenient. I would definitely come back again! 🫶

Women only guesthouse. The sense of safety is worth the price. It’s not difficult to list what it to be loved about the place. Comfortable bedding, luggage storage before and after check in if you have a late flight, relaxing space on the first floor, cleanliness. The complimentary breakfast made by the staff is above standards. I’m so grateful to be able to taste seaweed clam soup and Korean rice, and making your own eggs. But there are also options of bread and butter, and cereal. Fresh coffee, tea and water are also provided. At the end of the day it is a shared space and not always perfect in regards to noise, sometimes it can be noisy after 11pm. But the girls I stayed with were very nice and majority of times are open to chatting and communicating regards to lights out times. There was an incident with one staff member in the morning who wore black headphones, pink loungewear and had dark glasses. She was a bit rude regards to surroundings and almost hit me while opening the upper cupboard doors and fridge. Later, she was also disrespectful to another Chinese guest who wanted to ask a question at the front desk. Aside from this I truly enjoyed my stay here in central Jeju, and found it very comfortable and had decent privacy with the curtains. The guests were overall very respectful and I had the pleasure to meet nice people. I look forward to staying here again if I visit Jeju again.

I was genuinely very happy with this location, especially because we were travelling around Jeju without a car. The hotel is literally only a 2–3 minute walk from the bus terminal — basically the main station from which buses leave for different parts of the island. This made the location incredibly convenient for us. We travelled independently to different places all over Jeju by bus and could easily return here every evening. The area itself is very quiet and pleasant, and the self check-in system worked perfectly. The only small issue was that at first I could hear a strange high-pitched noise coming from the TV, almost like an ultrasonic sound, which made it difficult to fall asleep. Eventually I realised that simply unplugging the TV completely solved the problem, and after that I slept perfectly. So if you experience the same thing, just unplug the TV from the socket. Apart from that, everything was great. I definitely recommend this place, especially for travellers without a car who want to explore Jeju by public transport. I would happily stay here again if I return to the island.

The room's location is excellent, very close to the Qixing shopping area and Dongmen Market, and the famous Isaac Toast is right at the alley's entrance. We stayed for two nights. On the second day, when we went out to buy lunch and came back, we were a bit surprised to see our room door wide open. It turned out we forgot to hang the 'Do Not Disturb' sign, so the staff had entered to do some basic cleaning. We immediately asked them not to clean anymore after that.

The hotel is about 500m from Dongmun Market, roughly a 10-minute walk. The room was small with a window facing the road, but it wasn't noisy at night as there was hardly any traffic. The decor felt a bit dated, like something from over a decade ago, but it was clean, which was a plus. Due to South Korea's environmental regulations, they don't provide disposable toothbrushes here (though other hotels I stayed at in Jeju did). There's a CU convenience store diagonally opposite downstairs. Overall, it was pretty good.

My first time reviewing a hotel, and it's definitely not a fake review! Overall, it's excellent and perfect for a solo trip. The location is superb, right behind the Grand Hyatt and a 10-minute walk to Shilla Duty Free. The street behind it has tons of great food, including BBQ and BHC, all within a 4-5 minute walk. You really can't go wrong with any of the restaurants there, they're all delicious! The room itself is spacious and clean. They don't offer daily housekeeping, but you can ask for amenities at the front desk and they'll provide them. The bathroom is completely odor-free, and the water pressure is fantastic for a comfortable shower. It's also very quiet at night; I could barely hear any noise from next door, just the crickets outside the window. The only downside is that when you first enter the room, there's a distinct smell, a mix of smoke and mildew, hard to pinpoint, but you get used to it after a while. Self check-in is super convenient, by the way. The front desk staff doesn't speak Chinese, so you'll need a translator. I'd definitely stay here again next time!

Very satisfied. The room was clean, and the TV's Disney projection had a complete library of movies. The Disney music in the lobby was a nice touch. On the first floor, there's hot water for instant noodles and a microwave. My only minor complaint is that when staying for several days, toiletries like toilet paper and lotion weren't always fully replenished; you could ask for them during the day, but there was no one on duty at night. The location is convenient, with Baojian Road nearby offering plenty of places to walk and eat. Day tours and duty-free shops are all readily available.

I am happy that the room is big for a solo traveller, with a smart TV that plays netflix and youtube. it is very spacious and the bathroom is big too though it does not have a shower curtain. It has small towels only but provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, toner, lotion and a body sponge. Maybe there are mosquitoes so there is also a bug spray. 2 mineral waters replenish everyday abd has a refrigerator. The bed is a bit hard for me though, the old spring type. Lobby has a microwave and a hot/cold water refilling. Bed fixing and garbage collected everyday. Overall i am happy with my stay and will consider this hotel again in Jeju. Hotel is near Dongmun makret and Chilsing-ro and convenient for commuters with bus stops nearby.

Hotel is located in main location near shopping street and food street and hotel is good and decent and reception people are helpful and love to stay again

Everything was clean, from the front desk to the room. The back parking lot offers an ocean view, and the room offers a great view of the ocean as well. The proximity to the ocean makes for a great walk, and there's a 24-hour convenience store just a three-minute walk away.
