The Chifley Houston, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

I had nothing but great experiences in this hotel. I will stay here every time I visit Houston. The cleaning staff, the front desk, the wait staff in restaurant, the bartenders, everything was fantastic!

During my recent stay, I encountered several service issues that I believe merit management review. There was no housekeeping service provided in the morning, and no turndown or turnover service was available. I also had repeated difficulty reaching the front desk for assistance. When I requested extra towels and a comforter, no action was taken until I went to the front desk in person, and even then, I was unable to receive a fresh comforter. The front desk attendant informed me there was no microwave available, and the pillows provided caused skin irritation—something I have never experienced at other hotels. While the property itself is beautiful, it was somewhat difficult to locate, even for Houston locals. Unfortunately, the level of service did not reflect the high cost of the stay, and I believe better service could be found at a lower rate nearby. I documented my experience, including several interactions, and would appreciate the opportunity for hotel management to reach out and address these concerns before I share a full public review.

Very impressed with this hotel, location was perfect, hotel was very nice, and the rooms were spacious. Staff super friendly. Will definitely stay here again when we come to Houston.

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are super chic and updated. We ended up eating on the hotel restaurant - which was good but they were overwhelmed. Otherwise - great place. Would stay again.

Room was amazing, wish there was a microwave. I didn’t eat the hotel too pricey but I enjoyed my room.

No bellman on Sunday morning and only one elevator working Sunday morning when everyone was checking out.
