People in Zhubei are very friendly and enthusiastic, but the front desk clerk at your hotel is really incomprehensible and weird. The housekeepers and breakfast waiters on the 8th and 10th floors are hard-working, friendly and polite.

AJ Hotel is conveniently located just beside Hsinchu HSR and liujia train station. Eateries and 2 convenient stores ( 7eleven and family mart) is less than 3mins walk away. Rooms are clean and spacious. No complaints. The staff are friendly and helpful. A shoutout to Mr Lim who worked in the submarine cafe. He served our family of 4 on the 1st day and we asked for ice. On our subsequent visit, he would bring glasses of ice to our table without us needing to request them. He goes through the extra mile to be attentive to the guests. Definitely an asset to the hotel!
