Renovated in 2024, the Shanyin Mengju villa intelligent holiday home stay (South Gate Store of Mount Huangshan Scenic Spot) is a great choice for accommodation in Huangshan. Yixian Dong Railway Station is located approximately 35km away and Tunxi International Airport around 55km away. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Xiaoyaoxi, Tangkouzhen and Huangshan Scenic Area Cultural Center all nearby. Location = Great location. It is at Tangkouzhen. The hotel itself has a restaurant within its premise. There are mini markets nearby for you to stock up on snacks and other food stuff and beverage. It is about 30 minutes bus ride to Huangshan. Cleanliness = Excellent. Everything is in order. It has a smart system where the drapes are opened and shut with a touch of a button. The rooms are spacious and everything you need in a room is there and there was not once we need to call the helpdesk. Service = Excellent. There is a manager who is very hospitable that gave us a lot of information on the food and weather and the preparation for the Huangshan trip. There is also a tour agent who helped to arrange for the transportation to and from Huangshan which is also very helpful and patient. Facilities = Excellent. There is a laundry room with dryer without additional charge. There is a massage service available in case you need it after Huangshan hike. The restaurant's food is tasty and reasonably priced. The staff were very helpful in helping us to book the transport to Tunxi and back. There were 5 of us so, if we used the taxi we would need to book 2 but they suggested and helped us to get a 7-seater. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay here.

This stay was a 12/10! Firstly, the exterior of the hotel was stunning first look as you enter. Then, they let us store some of our bags here that we did not need to bring to the top of the mountain for one night so we didn’t need to carry so many things which was extremely helpful. Then, from the hotel they drove us to the south entrance & the car was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The hotel also provides complimentary breakfast & laundry!! So good. The following day as we came back from the mountains, we were given a number to contact someone from the hotel to come pick us up and bring us back to the hotel! There were many employees there to assist us when we arrived. One was helping us check in, another was telling us about their room service and showing us the menu. As we were getting our bags that we left, a female employee helped us carry all our heavy bags by herself and kindly showed us where our room was. Even when we tried to help her, she would say its okay. Moreover, when we arrived into our rooms, the first look was that it was extremely neat and tidy, the atmosphere had a homey comfortable vibe, smells nice and very spacious for a family of 4! Highly recommend to stay here! They also go out of their way to help us with special requests and showed they sincerely cared for their guests happiness. ＜3

The room was immaculate. Situated in close proximity to Huangshan Bus Station, it offers convenient access to various destinations, including the renowned Huangshan Scenic Area and the picturesque Hongcun Village, among others. To our surprise, all television programs required a fee for viewing. Additionally, no tea or coffee sachets were provided—a stark contrast to the other hotels we stayed at (five in total) that offered such amenities. It is worth noting that the hotel’s signage does not display ”Holiday Inn Express,”but rather a different name.

Location is very good, 5 minutes walk to the South Gate bus terminal to take the bus Huangshan cable ways (Yuping & Yungu). You can buy the bus ticket and park ticket at this terminal. Plenty of food outlets and supermarkets surrounding the hotel. Hotel helped me arranged for transport from Huangshan North railway station to the hotel and from hotel to same railway station on the day we left, at 35 Yuan per pax, on 8 seater sharing MPV. Booked 2 rooms and was given a free upgrade. Check in was fast & efficient as there were many check in staff on duty. Hotel also provides free wooden hiking sticks for guests, just return them at the reception counter after hiking. After checking out, I was going to the mountain again and to stay overnight in the mountain top in another hotel. Deposited our luggages at the hotel and collected then next day before going to the train station. Breakfast was good, free porridge at 9.30pm nightly too. Reception also helped to arrange for transport to a nearby scenic spot, Emerald Valley, with reasonable transport of 80 Yuan for both ways. If you want other Huangshan day trips, there is a tour desk operating at the hotel lobby which you can book trips further out of the town. We saw quite a number of guests booking trips at the tour desk. Many guests left their rooms early in the morning to start their hike, hence we could hear sound of frequent doors shutting from as early as 6am. Overall, had a very good stay and enjoyed the service and convenience provided.

It's true that I chose Yunman B&B after choosing a few (the reviews said they were good), but I didn't really have any high expectations. I thought it was only two nights of sleep, which was not what I expected, so I made do with it. After I moved in and found out, the reviews honestly didn't deceive me, it was beyond my expectations. The twin room is on the second floor. The overall decoration color is very simple, but it feels good, neat and comfortable. The boss is also kind. Will recommend to friends and will come again next time

The Huangshan Plankton Residence is located on the beautiful National Highway 205, which attracts many photographers to take photos every year.
