The hotel in Male is expensive, there is no way to get this price. The so-called sea view also sees the sea through the window of the corridor. The room hygiene can barely accept it. I was disappointed when i stayed at the Hotel & the experience did not meet my expectations. I stayed for 2 nights in different rooms, because of the smell from sewerage after complain they changed to another room and unfortunately the second room also same cannot breathe because of smell from sewerage. The beds were extremely hard and the television didn't work either. When I complained about television they said they check and fix it but no one came to fix it. Hot water kettle was provided without tea and coffee, when I request coffee they said it’s not available.

I stayed 3 nights and had to get a pcr test for flight home to Australia. This family run hotel were very helpful, transferring me to and from airport, organising the pcr test, lending me usb socket, milk for my room tea and lugging my luggage up and down stairs. The room was small but perfectly adequate with good air conditioning and quiet fan, fridge etc. I was on second floor so didn’t hear any noise from café downstairs. There are good restaurants within walking distance. I enjoyed my stay.

The place is like the pictures, but the rooms and facilities are more worn down in real life. I stayed for a night and it was enough, couldn't imagine staying past 1 night. TV does not work, toilet has this damp smell. The reception and lobby are kind of messy, doesn’t seem like a proper reception, even makes me wonder if a guesthouse even exists here.
