Dongwu New Century Grand Hotel Huzhou

This is an older hotel with a rich history. The architecture and ambiance reflect a past grandeur. Thanks to good management and maintenance, the only drawback is the poor soundproofing in the rooms, but this doesn't detract from the overall comfort. It's a hotel that offers great value for money. Located in Huzhou city center, its excellent location means you can walk to attractions like Tiefo Temple, Feiying Pagoda, and Yishang Street. Dining and shopping options are also conveniently close by.

The hotel is huge and conveniently located. We stayed on the 45th floor, and the room was very spacious with complete amenities. Upon check-in, we received complimentary fruit, cookies, and afternoon tea! The afternoon tea, served on the 52nd-floor executive lounge, had a very limited selection and was far less refined than the one we had last year at Qiandao Lake Junlan. Breakfast offered a good variety though, and overall, it was still quite good!

My stay at the Huzhou Dongwu Kaiyuan Mingdu Hotel was absolutely perfect! The hotel boasts an excellent, central location, right in the heart of the city. Silver Plaza is just downstairs, offering a one-stop solution for dining, entertainment, and shopping. The room had an unbeatable view; through the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, I could admire the city's scenery by day and the dazzling night lights, which was truly exhilarating. The breakfast buffet was extensive, featuring a wide array of local specialties.

The riverside view is absolutely stunning, beyond words. The service is incredibly warm and attentive, like a gentle breeze – truly exceptional. The location is perfect, close to all the city's attractions, making it convenient whether you walk or take a taxi – simply unbeatable. The only downside is that the facilities are indeed a bit old. Overall, I still highly recommend it.
