Hotel near Darling Harbour,Sydney
Connecting people, places & possibilities in the heart of Sydney. Perfectly positioned on the corner of Sussex and Bathurst Streets, Crowne Plaza Sydney Darling Harbour is the ideal Sydney getaway, placing you moments from Town Hall, Queen Victoria Building (QVB), and Sydney’s premier shopping precinct. Within a short walk, discover Darling Harbour’s waterfront, vibrant dining, museums, and wildlife experiences, as well as neighbouring Chinatown. Recharge your way, take in the views from our rooftop heated pool and sun deck, or come together over food and drinks across our three on-site venues. However you travel, you’ll feel connected to the energy of Sydney, and to what matters most.

"First off, this was our second hotel in Sydney; the first was the Shangri-La. (It was clear they didn't offer Chinese-speaking services there.) We booked a king room but were given a twin room, and it was a corner unit with no sunlight. After communicating in English, we were able to switch to a room with some natural light. Secondly, this isn't a grand hotel in the traditional sense. It's a small annex on the side of a larger building, and the hotel only occupies a few floors (up to the 9th). This means the room layout is U-shaped with narrow corridors. Because the main building has dozens of floors, and the hotel is located at an intersection surrounded by other tall buildings, most rooms don't have expansive views, and the lighting isn't great either (this really can't compare to the Shangri-La, which has amazing views and a very therapeutic outlook from the window). The room size also isn't as good as the Shangri-La, but it does have its advantages. This hotel is very close to Chinatown; it would probably take 25 minutes to walk from the Shangri-La, whereas it's only a 10-minute walk from here. Another plus is that the hotel facilities are very new, which my partner was quite happy with. However, I would still choose the Shangri-La next time."

"First stop in Sydney! Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the hotel. The location is unbeatable; it's so convenient to get anywhere, perfect for a city walk. It's also very friendly for fashion lovers. The lobby isn't maintained very well, it only looks good when the lights are on at night. We were upgraded to a super awesome ocean view room this time, which made me really happy! I highly recommend the hotel's breakfast and the dinner buffet – both are top-notch in Sydney."

"The hotel location was great - close to thr airport and easy access to the city. Room was spacious and had good amenities e.g. kettle, coffee maker, dishwasher etc. Some aspects of the room would need a bit of updating as you can see it is not brand new anymore. Sauna, pool and jacuzzi were lovely. However, jacuzzi wasnt always working and had no working light in the evening. Overall, lovely hotel, staff was friendly - we would stay again :)."

"Although the rooftop swimming pool is not big, the view is great. There are buildings under construction around, so the environment is a bit noisy, but the working hours on Australian construction sites are short, so most of the time it does not affect the stay experience. Upgraded to a terrace room, the room is spacious and the hygiene is very good, in line with InterContinental's consistent standards. The location is not far from Sydney's major attractions, but there is no public transportation. It is recommended to take a taxi or Uber. Double Bay, where the hotel is located, is a high-end residential area. The nearby beaches and commercial areas are worth a visit. Overall, it is recommended, especially if you are not in a hurry or have already visited Sydney's major attractions, you can stay here for a while."
