Guest UserI really like Capella. The service is excellent, and the rooms are cleaned and turndown service is provided punctually. I even encountered a front desk staff member who spoke Chinese. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but it's sufficient. The twin room felt like one large and one small bed, which was perfectly fine. The location is convenient for getting anywhere, and food delivery is also available.

I think it's pretty good. Downstairs, there's a great selection of Chinese food and a large supermarket. The subway is a five-minute walk from the hotel, or three minutes if you walk fast. Plus, there's a cheap bus from the airport – not the expensive airport express, just the regular bus, and it's also very quick and convenient. I think it might even be the last stop. On the day we went, it seemed to be a holiday, and the driver didn't charge us; we just got on without swiping our cards. The room allows for cooking and laundry, which is perfect for family trips. The price was reasonable, not expensive, at 1500 per night during the peak season in January. Recommended!

Denne GohStayed 5 nights at Little National Hotel Sydney and overall it was a solid experience . Super Singaporean-friendly in terms of convenience: location was fantastic, literally next to the metro, walkable to Westfield for shopping, and very near Darling Harbour, plus the staff were always courteous and professional, making the stay smooth and pleasant; the only real complaint, and quite a big one for me, is that for a hotel costing over $200 a night, I shouldn’t have to go to the gym every day just to refill my water bottle — they clearly have space at the lift lobby (enough to put a sofa set), so installing a water dispenser on each floor would really improve the experience; overall a great stay, but this water situation is something they should seriously consider fixing.

Guest UserI stayed at two Sofitels in Sydney during my Australia trip, and because I was so satisfied with the Sofitel Darling Harbour, I decided to book this downtown Sofitel after returning from Cairns. However, this turned out to be the biggest mistake of my two-week trip.
The hotel mainly uses self-check-in, with two counters in a corner for manual service. Check-in went smoothly enough, but the moment I opened my room door, I was stunned. The room was not the standard type I booked; it was tiny. I wasn't expecting a fancy view, but at least they shouldn't have given me the worst room in the hotel – the only internal-facing room on each floor, facing a large exhaust fan, and on the lowest floor! I couldn't help but wonder if I had offended someone. I called to request a room change and was told that the room type I booked was fully occupied for the night, with only a 'special room type' left on the 11th floor (a room designed for guests with disabilities). I said, 'Alright, at least it's a standard room.' So I started waiting for someone from the hotel to show me the room, but after nearly 10 minutes, no one came. Meanwhile, I noticed that the room type I originally booked was available on various platforms. So I went directly to the front desk to change rooms, and this time it was resolved smoothly. Finally, I was assigned the room type I had reserved. Although the room wasn't large, it certainly looked like a standard 5-star room.
Another thing I have to complain about is the hotel's front office service (excluding the concierge), which was practically non-existent. The so-called 'brand standard' clearly didn't apply to them. 1. There was no apology whatsoever for assigning such a bad room, and no genuine effort to resolve the issue. 2. I called for two forks, but by the time I checked out the next day, there was no sign of them. I've stayed in many 5-star hotels globally, and the housekeeping service here was arguably the most disappointing.
The breakfast, however, was quite good. While it's true, as other guests have mentioned, that there's often a long queue, we were seated quickly on the day we went. The breakfast selection was rich, and although the overall service efficiency wasn't very high, I considered it quite good for this hotel.

Anonymous UserMy overall experience at W Hotel Sydney was very satisfying. The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation and beautiful surroundings. The room design is stylish and modern, clean and tidy, and the bedding is comfortable, allowing me to rest very well during my stay.
The hotel's public facilities are very well-maintained. Whether it's the pool, gym, or public areas, everything feels high-quality. The staff also provides excellent service; they are warm, professional, and promptly assist with any issues, making the entire check-in process very smooth.
Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. Both the hardware facilities and the service level met my expectations. I will consider choosing W Hotel again next time I visit Sydney and will also recommend it to my friends.

Extremely satisfied, their professionalism truly deserves praise. I booked rooms overlooking both the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. From the rooms we were assigned, the Opera House view had a better layout and angle. My photography skills aren't great, so the view was even more impressive in person. The service was very warm; they knew it was Chinese New Year and even gave us some candies.

Guest UserThe room was spotless and very comfortable. The hotel's location is excellent, with easy access to transportation, making getting around a breeze. The most pleasant surprise was the night view from the window – the wide-open vista and sparkling city lights were delightful, day or night. The overall environment was quiet, and the service was attentive. It was a very satisfying stay, highly recommended.

The hotel ticks a lot of boxes, clean modern rooms, pool and steam room, and in the best location, very central over looking the beach. The hotel has just had a refurbishment, very tidy with a good bar and restaurant on the ground floor. Only slight negative, front dest - check in could be better and a bit more friendly.
If you want to stay in Manly, this hotel is your best choice, the other main hotel is way down at the end of the beach.

We had a brilliant experience at the Langham for our wedding anniversary! I forgot how much I like the Langham brand. From the pink ribbon around the toilet paper to the sleep ammenities (we asked for the sleep pillow mist and the room diffuser) to the suggested third eye massage technique and the chamomile tea before bedtime, we felt totally pampered and taken care of. Reservation was made for our celebratory dinner with fine steak dinner over the fantastic view of the Opera House. In room breakfast was delivered on time and the quantity copious. The Spanish bell boy was helpful and friendly. We were also upgraded to a harbour view room to our delight. Location was convenient to walk either to Barangaroo or the Rocks, for ferry ride or metro. Very pleased to have chosen The Langham, it was absolutely the right decision for us!

This is my second stay. The last time was before the pandemic. I feel that the hotel has not changed much overall, but there are some minor adjustments. There is a pungent smell of spray paint in the corridor near the room. After I told the front desk, I immediately changed the room and gave a bottle of red wine. The only thing I think is that the hotel parking is expensive.
