Capella truly has a magical quality that makes you never want to leave once you're there.
The blond, blue-eyed bellboy was handsome and cheerful, calling me 'Ms. Chen' repeatedly, which made my heart flutter 🥰 (Sorry, I'm a sucker for good looks, but he really was handsome, folks!).
I arrived at the hotel at 9 AM and successfully checked in. The legendary welcome snack, Maltesers, was genuinely delicious [shy emoji]. An iPad can handle all your needs, so you no longer have to call to communicate requests... extremely social-anxiety friendly!!
All the services were incredibly thoughtful. I fell asleep within 15 minutes of my two-hour spa treatment [crying emoji]. The spa bed was surprisingly comfortable, like a giant air cushion. After the treatment, the therapist put slippers on my feet, placed the bathrobe on my lap, and adjusted the bed to a semi-sitting position, allowing me to change clothes without even getting out of bed [sobbing emoji]. It's hard to believe that among all the hotels I've stayed at during my solo trips, this is the first one that didn't place two pairs of slippers during the turndown service. Every time I see an extra pair of slippers, I get a strange feeling of déjà vu.
Personally, I think the breakfast here was quite impressive for Australia, offering both Spanish ham and hot Chinese congee. The service was very attentive and excellent.

YinweiyouniyishengkuaileThe hotel's location is fantastic, right above Wynyard Station on the airport line, making it a quick 20-minute journey. It's also within walking distance to famous attractions and great restaurants. The decor is modern and stylish, and the place is very clean. The service was exceptional; Crystal at the front desk checked us in and thoughtfully informed us about the complimentary water, coffee, tea, and co-working space available upstairs. Our room was tidied promptly and kept clean daily. My only minor gripe is that getting in and out of the bed was a bit inconvenient for the person sleeping on the inside. Overall, highly recommended!

Guest UserWe stayed in Room 323, just next to gym and pool room. Was worried with noise as We stayed from Wednesday night till Sunday morning check out. My worries were unfounded. Had a pleasant 4 night stay. Living room was spacious and equipped with a clean kitchen and dining table. Washing machine and dryer are separate and hidden behind door. Useful! Bedroom has a king bed, spacious and comfortable. Aircon control in bedroom is separate. Best location of hotel as surrounded with lots of eateries. We highly recommend Malaysian restaurant selling delicious chicken rice and sambal kangkong! Another shop is Into Laksa. Delicious and reasonably priced. Woolsworth supermarket is just a short walk away!! Meriton Mascot is considered an airport hotel as it’s near airport and just 2 stops to city, circular quay stop. I used the super bus shuttle via klook. Convenient hotel drop off and pick up. Only passengers. No need worry uber driver complained too many luggage. Meriton is kind to load long umbrellas on raining days. Just remember to return after each day use and borrow again the following day. Otherwise you may be charged AUD50 for not returning. They do ask your room number.

Guest UserI stayed at two Sofitels in Sydney during my Australia trip, and because I was so satisfied with the Sofitel Darling Harbour, I decided to book this downtown Sofitel after returning from Cairns. However, this turned out to be the biggest mistake of my two-week trip.
The hotel mainly uses self-check-in, with two counters in a corner for manual service. Check-in went smoothly enough, but the moment I opened my room door, I was stunned. The room was not the standard type I booked; it was tiny. I wasn't expecting a fancy view, but at least they shouldn't have given me the worst room in the hotel – the only internal-facing room on each floor, facing a large exhaust fan, and on the lowest floor! I couldn't help but wonder if I had offended someone. I called to request a room change and was told that the room type I booked was fully occupied for the night, with only a 'special room type' left on the 11th floor (a room designed for guests with disabilities). I said, 'Alright, at least it's a standard room.' So I started waiting for someone from the hotel to show me the room, but after nearly 10 minutes, no one came. Meanwhile, I noticed that the room type I originally booked was available on various platforms. So I went directly to the front desk to change rooms, and this time it was resolved smoothly. Finally, I was assigned the room type I had reserved. Although the room wasn't large, it certainly looked like a standard 5-star room.
Another thing I have to complain about is the hotel's front office service (excluding the concierge), which was practically non-existent. The so-called 'brand standard' clearly didn't apply to them. 1. There was no apology whatsoever for assigning such a bad room, and no genuine effort to resolve the issue. 2. I called for two forks, but by the time I checked out the next day, there was no sign of them. I've stayed in many 5-star hotels globally, and the housekeeping service here was arguably the most disappointing.
The breakfast, however, was quite good. While it's true, as other guests have mentioned, that there's often a long queue, we were seated quickly on the day we went. The breakfast selection was rich, and although the overall service efficiency wasn't very high, I considered it quite good for this hotel.

Anonymous UserMy overall experience at W Hotel Sydney was very satisfying. The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation and beautiful surroundings. The room design is stylish and modern, clean and tidy, and the bedding is comfortable, allowing me to rest very well during my stay.
The hotel's public facilities are very well-maintained. Whether it's the pool, gym, or public areas, everything feels high-quality. The staff also provides excellent service; they are warm, professional, and promptly assist with any issues, making the entire check-in process very smooth.
Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. Both the hardware facilities and the service level met my expectations. I will consider choosing W Hotel again next time I visit Sydney and will also recommend it to my friends.

XiaozhuangtudouThe location is absolutely fantastic, with everything you need right outside the door! Highly recommend! You can easily stroll to the beach in the evening or morning and catch a glimpse of the Opera House. It doesn't really matter that it's not a direct, front-row view of the Opera House; the location alone makes up for it. The hallway does smell of paint, though! That needs improvement.

Guest UserThe room was spotless and very comfortable. The hotel's location is excellent, with easy access to transportation, making getting around a breeze. The most pleasant surprise was the night view from the window – the wide-open vista and sparkling city lights were delightful, day or night. The overall environment was quiet, and the service was attentive. It was a very satisfying stay, highly recommended.

The hotel ticks a lot of boxes, clean modern rooms, pool and steam room, and in the best location, very central over looking the beach. The hotel has just had a refurbishment, very tidy with a good bar and restaurant on the ground floor. Only slight negative, front dest - check in could be better and a bit more friendly.
If you want to stay in Manly, this hotel is your best choice, the other main hotel is way down at the end of the beach.

Anonymous UserVery nice view from our room widows. There are full of different types restaurants on the ground floor. But If you close the window, the sound proof is excellent which I typically want to recommend.
Stuffs are friendly and helpful, willing to give you recommendations if you are first-time visitors. They even wrote a welcome card.
They have a ballroom here just opposite the reception, holding different personal events every night. I like the vibe which means it's popular place and safe.
The hotel is friendly to those who travel with dogs. They have special bed and food for dogs. But we didn't need it and the dog net door barked very early in the morning. We were OK with it.
At the other aspect, the hotel goes too much.
The breakfast is allllll for vegetarians.
Yes, all.
As a guest, you are left with no choice.
This is the only point that I particularly hate. Be whatever you like, just don't push others to do the something, especially when you are running a business.
