Jeffrey C K ChowLocated a few minutes down the street from Central Station, very convenient if you're travelling around the city or getting to the airport via train. Friendly staff at reception made checking in was quick and easy. Room was in decent condition, and has everything you need for a short stay. Tea/coffee is available 24/7 next to reception and snacks available in the morning (pastries / cakes etc..) for breakfast.

onlinelilyExcellent hotel! The rooms are quite spacious, and come with a fridge, kitchen, and stove, making for a very comfortable stay. The hotel is super conveniently located; just a few minutes' walk to the right is the train station, bus station, a large supermarket, and various restaurants. It's easy to get anywhere from here. It's also very close to the airport, accessible by taxi or train. The cheapest option is the bus, which also goes there. It's incredibly convenient!

Guest UserFacilities: The hotel is new and well-equipped. All the in-room amenities are well-maintained and easy to use, making for a very comfortable stay overall.
Environment: The environment is excellent – clean and tidy. The surrounding area has all the necessary amenities, and transportation is very convenient, with the subway station just a 3-minute walk away, making it super easy to get around.
Service: The service is also top-notch. The staff are warm and professional, making both check-in and communication smooth. They are prompt in responding to any requests, making you feel right at home.
The only minor drawback is that it can be a bit noisy at night due to constant traffic, which slightly affected my sleep.

Anonymous UserWe stayed for 8 nights with our 3-year-old toddler, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish.
Location: Perfect. We walked easily from the train station after arriving from Sydney Airport. The hotel is within a 10-minute walk to Darling Harbour, about 15 minutes to Wildlife Sydney and SEA LIFE, and right next to Darling Square park. Plus, Coles, Priceline, Chemist Warehouse, and everything else we needed were just minutes away.
Room layout: We booked a one-bedroom apartment with a living room, balcony, large kitchen, and lovely bathroom. The space was huge – ideal for a family. The dining table was a real bonus, and the kitchen had everything we needed. I was able to cook breakfast and dinner for our toddler each day, so we didn’t have to eat out every night. That saved us time, money, and hassle.
Service: Housekeeping came almost every day, and the customer service from the entire team was fantastic – everyone was so friendly and helpful.
If you’re travelling with a young child and want space, convenience, and a welcoming atmosphere, I would absolutely recommend Rydges Darling Square Apartment Hotel. We’ll be back!

The hotel location is very convenient, right next to the train station and light rail. There's also a lounge where you can relax and enjoy free hot drinks. On Saturday nights, if there's an event at the bar next door, the soundproofing isn't great, but it always ends promptly at 12 AM.

This hotel is located right in Chinatown, with a supermarket downstairs and plenty of places to eat and grab a coffee. We often went down to the supermarket to buy water, fruit, and snacks. The room was great, and it even had an electric kettle, which was a nice touch.

PinweizhongdejimoI highly recommend the Novotel Sydney Darling Harbour! The overall experience was superb, and the service was exceptionally attentive. The front desk offers Chinese-speaking staff, and a lovely girl from Suzhou was particularly warm and thoughtful, proactively helping with various issues and kindly sharing local travel tips. This makes the hotel very friendly to Chinese tourists. The hotel's location is excellent, backing onto Chinatown and right next to Darling Harbour Pier, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and finding food. Plus, it's a pick-up point for local day tour groups, which makes joining tours very hassle-free. Both the convenience of travel and the service experience are impeccable. For Chinese friends visiting Sydney, I highly recommend choosing this hotel.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to St James station, and right next to Westfield and QVB. The room was also quite spacious and comfortable. We opted for a quiet room, but the slight inconvenience was having to take an elevator to the front desk, then walk up stairs to another elevator, which was a bit awkward with luggage.

Guest UserOverall, it was good. We were a group of four and got two rooms. One room had an en-suite bathroom. The accommodation was spacious with a kitchen, a living room, a dining table, a washing machine, and a dryer. It was clean. However, there's no elevator, so you might want to request a ground floor room if you're traveling with elderly people or have a lot of luggage. We were impressed.

Reasonable price, but the hotel looks a bit old and has an unpleasant odour. The carpet definitely needs a deep clean, and the air conditioner was dripping all night. The one good thing about this hotel is the excellent customer service. Car park was great, overall it ok.
