onlinelilyExcellent hotel! The rooms are quite spacious, and come with a fridge, kitchen, and stove, making for a very comfortable stay. The hotel is super conveniently located; just a few minutes' walk to the right is the train station, bus station, a large supermarket, and various restaurants. It's easy to get anywhere from here. It's also very close to the airport, accessible by taxi or train. The cheapest option is the bus, which also goes there. It's incredibly convenient!

Lyn RI will definitely stay here again when I come back to Sydney. I arrived early and left my luggage to explore the city, the hotel called me as soon as the room was already available and my luggage was also brought to the room (shout out to the Filipino receptionist for helping, sorry I forgot his name 🥹)
Pros:
- free 24/7 coffee and tea
- complimentary breakfast (pastry, fruits, biscuits) not buffet BUT definitely a great help to fuel your day especially if you are on the go.
- 7 mins walk from Central Station (exit via Elizabeth St.) Very convenient for train and tram transport. Also walking distance to Paddy’s Market and Chinatown.
- staff are all super nice and accommodating.
- basic toiletries provided: body gel, shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion and shower cap. (NO toothbrush and toothpaste so bring your own. NO cotton buds too)
- ironing board and iron in the room.
Cons:
- 4 star for the cleanliness cause I can see dusts in the side table. I feel like the room i stayed in wasn't thoroughly cleaned.
- while the room i booked was supposedly good for 2, the space is actually small even for just one person. Its hard to open a big luggage.

Guest UserFacilities: The hotel is new and well-equipped. All the in-room amenities are well-maintained and easy to use, making for a very comfortable stay overall.
Environment: The environment is excellent – clean and tidy. The surrounding area has all the necessary amenities, and transportation is very convenient, with the subway station just a 3-minute walk away, making it super easy to get around.
Service: The service is also top-notch. The staff are warm and professional, making both check-in and communication smooth. They are prompt in responding to any requests, making you feel right at home.
The only minor drawback is that it can be a bit noisy at night due to constant traffic, which slightly affected my sleep.

Anonymous UserWe stayed for 8 nights with our 3-year-old toddler, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish.
Location: Perfect. We walked easily from the train station after arriving from Sydney Airport. The hotel is within a 10-minute walk to Darling Harbour, about 15 minutes to Wildlife Sydney and SEA LIFE, and right next to Darling Square park. Plus, Coles, Priceline, Chemist Warehouse, and everything else we needed were just minutes away.
Room layout: We booked a one-bedroom apartment with a living room, balcony, large kitchen, and lovely bathroom. The space was huge – ideal for a family. The dining table was a real bonus, and the kitchen had everything we needed. I was able to cook breakfast and dinner for our toddler each day, so we didn’t have to eat out every night. That saved us time, money, and hassle.
Service: Housekeeping came almost every day, and the customer service from the entire team was fantastic – everyone was so friendly and helpful.
If you’re travelling with a young child and want space, convenience, and a welcoming atmosphere, I would absolutely recommend Rydges Darling Square Apartment Hotel. We’ll be back!

This hotel is located right in Chinatown, with a supermarket downstairs and plenty of places to eat and grab a coffee. We often went down to the supermarket to buy water, fruit, and snacks. The room was great, and it even had an electric kettle, which was a nice touch.

The hotel location is very convenient, right next to the train station and light rail. There's also a lounge where you can relax and enjoy free hot drinks. On Saturday nights, if there's an event at the bar next door, the soundproofing isn't great, but it always ends promptly at 12 AM.

JoceryThe room was quite new, and the location is excellent, right in Chinatown, making it super convenient to get anywhere. It was also very clean, and the front desk staff were friendly. The price was also much more reasonable compared to other hotels in the city center!

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to St James station, and right next to Westfield and QVB. The room was also quite spacious and comfortable. We opted for a quiet room, but the slight inconvenience was having to take an elevator to the front desk, then walk up stairs to another elevator, which was a bit awkward with luggage.

KS09AYEHS Hotel Sydney Harbour Suites was one of the better hotels we booked in Sydney. We booked about a month in advance, and everything looked well managed. Because we booked early, we got a room with a separate bed and sofa area for a similar price to other small-room hotels — that probably made the stay feel better. The lobby area was nice, and the reception staff were professional. They also offered free coffee and cookies at the lobby, which was a pleasant touch.
Check-in time is around 2 pm, so it’s good to plan your arrival accordingly. The staff kindly allowed us early check-in by about an hour. Similar to other YEHS hotels, they mentioned social media promotion, but they did not check before allocating the room. The staff were polite, helpful, and even kept our luggage safely when we arrived early.
The location is very good – close to Pyrmont Bridge and the CBD area. It’s an good walk to the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. The way to the CBD has a short uphill walk but is not difficult for most people. Overall, a comfortable stay in a convenient and pleasant area.

Decent hotel, just a bit old, but was still clean and had a good experience. Service in particular was great, we overslept and they let us check out late with no extra fees.
