"Nice hotel. Usually good value for the price, except when they are almost full, then it can get expensive. But most of the time good value for money. Staff are very polite and amiable and most of the rooms are clean and comfortable. A few rooms are a little rough and dated but they are slowly being renovated.

"The fireworks at Darling Harbour were absolutely stunning, and our room faced Darling Harbour directly. The kids basically lived on the balcony, doing homework, watching fireworks, and eating – they called it the best hotel of the trip. Personally, I found the room a bit small; once we opened our two 28-inch suitcases, there was no space left. Also, the lighting was a bit dim and lacked brightness. Breakfast was quite Western-style, good quality but with limited variety. The kids were quite sad when they realized there was no ice cream, no chocolate fountain, no dessert bar, and no self-service juice (compared to the Crown in Melbourne and Langham where we stayed). But as parents, we were thrilled! Less sugar intake, and the fruits and yogurt were excellent quality. The eggs used for omelets and Eggs Benedict were organic. The downside is that it's a bit far from the subway station, and the walk back to the hotel area at night felt a little dark. My biggest complaint is that in the morning, the kids left a cup on the breakfast table, and when we checked out, they wouldn't even look for it, claiming the breakfast bar staff had gone off duty. My daughter was very upset about her Tiger thermos and even cried."

Stayed at Sheraton Sydney a few times. Room was clean and comfortable. Reception were excellent and was very easy check in and check out. Location is also great walking distance to Sydney cbd shops. Buffet breakfast was also very nice.... Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect night away - a beautiful modern hotel and rooms with fantastic views. Very clean and all staff were friendly and helpful. We had cocktails at Cirq , dinner at Woodcut and breakfast at Epicurean. Had great food , drinks and service at all 3. Fantastic buffet breakfast !!

The location was excellent—Wynyard metro station is just a two-minute walk away, which was very convenient. Our room was well-equipped; we had a queen bed and a sofa bed, plus a handy kitchenette with an induction hob, sink, fridge, and even a dishwasher. We also appreciated that the bathroom came with its own washing machine and tumble dryer. We were given a room on the first floor and found that the street noise was quite noticeable. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to request a room on a higher floor. Additionally, the room is starting to look a little worn. The hotel will need to invest in some refurbishment soon to stay competitive with other properties in the area. Ultimately, it's a solid place to stay if you can overlook those minor issues. They weren't major problems for us.

Our stay at Meriton Suites Kent Street was fantastic! The location is right in the heart of the city — walking distance to Darling Harbour, Town Hall Station, and plenty of shops and restaurants. The suite was spacious, modern, and spotless, with a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities that made our trip so much more convenient. The bed was very comfortable, and we loved having a separate living area to relax in after a long day exploring Sydney. The staff were friendly and helpful, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Having an indoor pool, spa, and gym on-site was a great bonus too. Highly recommend Meriton Suites Kent Street for anyone looking for comfort, space, and excellent value in a central Sydney location.

We had a brilliant experience at the Langham for our wedding anniversary! I forgot how much I like the Langham brand. From the pink ribbon around the toilet paper to the sleep ammenities (we asked for the sleep pillow mist and the room diffuser) to the suggested third eye massage technique and the chamomile tea before bedtime, we felt totally pampered and taken care of. Reservation was made for our celebratory dinner with fine steak dinner over the fantastic view of the Opera House. In room breakfast was delivered on time and the quantity copious. The Spanish bell boy was helpful and friendly. We were also upgraded to a harbour view room to our delight. Location was convenient to walk either to Barangaroo or the Rocks, for ferry ride or metro. Very pleased to have chosen The Langham, it was absolutely the right decision for us!
